Attract Group built a digital tool that strengthens medical professionals’ social media presence. They curated a library of accurate and educational articles to ensure efficient and targeted communication. These materials come from a reference library featuring thousands of articles across 16 clinical categories. 

Our service sends users this content and posts it to their Facebook account. Customers pick their categories of choice, indicate the days and times they’d like it posted, and our editorial staff does the rest.  Attract Group developed the entire platform that facilitates our program. It’s an excellent instrument for busy professionals.

What challenge were you trying to address with Attract Group?

We needed to build a tool similar to LinkedIn for people working in the entertainment industry. It targeted sound and lighting engineers and other specialists. We wanted to create a tool that would allow teams to communicate and give managers access to team members’ conversations.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The documentation we provided could have been more specific, but it was detailed enough to develop an estimate and work plans. PHP was the main language. One of the functionalities was a wall, similar to that of Facebook. Instead of news and posts, it was used for teams and clients to communicate. All files and conversations were saved there, and the team lead was able to keep an eye on each one, even in the case of multiple teams.

We worked with four people from their team: designers, developers, and the owner of the company who served as the project manager.

I found them on Elance. They scored within the top 1% for the PHP tests on that platform out of 200,000 global companies. This is why I chose them, and I was satisfied.

It was an awesome solution for its time. The client liked the software. We ended this project when the client didn’t have any more resources to push the project forward.

Attract Group was great. We communicated daily which happens when developing software. There were always changes to make. It was a big challenge. We used Skype for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their code quality was absolutely outstanding. A couple other developers checked it and said that Attract Group’s code was well-made.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At the time, one of their developers didn’t have good English skills, but I’m sure they’ve managed this tiny communication issue since then.

Attract Group has become an integral part of our IT team. They’re helping us optimize our platform’s design while working to create a custom, localized experience for customers based on where they are in the world.

At the start of the engagement, we provided specific wireframes. We’re a direct sales organization with a fairly complex multi-level commissions structure. It’s not a typical e-commerce business. We provided them with insight and brought them up to speed on some of the nuances of this industry. Since then, they’ve been able to take ownership and initiative.

The site is completely custom built by Attract Group. They brought a depth of knowledge to the table that helped us customize our entire e-commerce platform.

Customers should have someone on their team with an IT background to facilitate communication. I don’t believe it’s completely necessary with Attract Group, but it makes the process easier when you’re talking about specific software architecture.

The partnership was a long trial-and-error process. Their team constantly tweaked the site until it accommodated all of my specifications and reached the optimal version. The CRM system allows us to have a complete control over the company’s business processes, especially those in the sales department. In that section, we can see all the leads coming in from different landing pages and the site. The development team also integrate VOIP telephony, based on Twilio.

The CRM allows us to keep and manage all of the financial aspects of our company in one location. It also produces many kinds of reports, which helps u stay on top of all sorts of important business processes/events. Our analysts have access to sales and financials, current entities' statuses, calls, SMS, and marketing information.

We received a unified coordination tool for customers and employees and increased our sales department’s efficiency by 40%. The latter is thanks to VOIP capabilities, and many new analytics in sales and finance having to do with SMS, marketing, and customer status.

We had conversations over Skype and phone, while also sending important information over email. All the code is backed up using a software tool. We’ve given them credentials for our app-store accounts. They’ve always been on time, and the communication was good.

It’s good to have general IT knowledge on the client’s side, in terms of app and website development. It can lead to better communication with the project manager and the rest of the team. If the client is not aware of how systems are built, it can lead to discrepancies between is wanted, and what the developer delivers.

Attract Group team had been developing the system for 18 months. They began test synchronizations with the main website in September 2014. As a result, every system participant received multiple advantages.

English students received a user-friendly personal account for class planning and payment, teachers can now set their own schedule through the interface, and the system automatically creates each teacher’s workload and calculates their rewards. Managers and business owners received an easy-to-use instrument for business maintenance.
