Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Project Manager for BuyerBridge. We operate an Ad Tech platform that helps our users reach targeted consumers for their products on the leading social media platforms.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Bixlabs, and what were your goals?

We brought on Bixlabs to supplement our development team so we could create a tool that would allow our users to create their own image media that can be used in social media ads. Instead of having pre-created images that could be used we wanted to give our users the ability to create any custom images that they would want to use without having a background in graphic design or having to buy an expensive application.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have worked with Bixlabs on many projects in the past and they have always successfully delivered.

We had a kickoff meeting with Bixlabs to discuss the scope of the project and provide them with wireframes for how we wanted the user experience to behave. We planned out the work and had weekly syncs to answer any questions that came up and helped plan for the next sprint delivery. We also had weekly demo meetings to review progress and see the work go from prototype to completion where we could provide feedback and use the tool to test out its functionality.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Alex was our main point of contact for this work as the project manager. We also worked with Javier, developer and Toni, tech lead, to ensure the scope was defined and they knew the tasks that were being executed.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are still working on integrating the Bixlabs deliverables into our platform but our internal users are loving the update and satisfied with the work that was delivered.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had two sync meetings a week, one to discuss the upcoming sprint work and one to review it. We also used Slack for internal communication and ClickUp for task management that Alex owned.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It is great working with Bixlabs as they will come up with solution by themselves for any problems that were faced during the time on the project. They would reach out and confirm how they thought the behavior should work and kept our team in the loop all the time. They were always open to feedback and asking for it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were some minor bugs but the team did a great job at addressing them promptly and quickly.

The work was excellent. Bixlabs is very responsive and helps solve problems that come up immediately.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Our team is now a well oiled machine, thanks to the diligence of the company. I have faith that we will continue to evolve and work with Bixlabs for a long time.

No they are excellent!
