The total cost of the project was around $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Confianz 6 months ago. Our project is complete, but Confianz continues to help us with minor updates and additions to the platform. We plan on using Confianz for the SEO [search engine optimization] portion of the work in order to get more traffic to the app as well as to the site.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

So far, there haven't been any issues with the collaboration. There were some corrections which we had to make to terms and date formats, but they were fairly minor.

For our current site revamp, I don't think that we'll have to make any changes in the near future.

How did Confianz perform from a project management standpoint?

Confianz is a local company, so it's easy to get face-to-face time with them. The work was done within the stated time and under-budget. I have no complaints.

What distinguishes Confianz from other providers?

We've worked with several people within the last 4-5 years. Speed was a good factor for Confianz. Once we relayed issues and concerns about a certain part of the project, the time that Confianz took to respond to us and correct the issues at hand was very quick.

Is there anything Confianz could have improved or done differently?

Not that I can think of.

We are a marketing and sales company assisting small business in finding local customers. We offer consultation services, showing companies how to go from the old Yellow Pages approach, to doing everything online.

I am the Chief Operating Officer of the company. I run the day-to-day business in the office and also handle company finances.

We needed development services for building an app.

Confianz helped us develop a new app for the company. It was built as a review portal for our customers. Confianz played a big part in creating and developing the app. They met with our Chief Technology Officer [CTO] regularly and met every deadline on their assignments.

How did you come to work with Confianz?

Confianz was referred to me by a friend. I knew one of the owners of Confianz, but I didn't know that they also specialized in app development, so I didn't consider them at first. Confianz made a demo for my IT team, as well as for our consultants at the time. They loved it and we pushed forward.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

We spent a minimal set budget. I am not sure about the total cost, but the average spend per month was between $4,000 and $6,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together at the middle of 2015. We stopped working with Confianz because of a company downsize on our end. It had nothing to do with Confianz, we simply needed to pivot our business model.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

The finished product was fantastic. We originally started the coding process with another company. They had a bigger price than Confianz and weren't meeting the deadlines that were put in place. We came to the point of making certain requests and not having them delivered. They weren't able to actually provide the work required of them. When Confianz came in, this changed. Our CTO was always happy with Confianz's work.

How did Confianz perform from a project management standpoint?

Confianz was great in this sense. I was very impressed with their ability to do everything that was accomplished within our budget, and in a timely fashion. There were a few hiccups related to tasks which weren't done on our end by the CTO and the in-house IT team, so there were delays caused by our own fault.

What distinguishes Confianz from other providers?

I appreciated Confianz' ability to get the work done and their willingness to help. They always had great ideas about different approaches we could take.

Is there anything Confianz could have improved or done differently?

I wouldn't be the best person to answer from a technical standpoint. In the sense of dealing with Confianz on a day-to-day basis, they were fantastic. Confianz did everything which they promised to do and provided full support to us.

We are a recently formed international tea harvester, processor, and distributor. Our operating headquarters are in New York.

What were your goals going into the project?

Since we are a new company, we didn't have any supply chain system to manage our business. Our products are harvested around the world, blended based on different rules, then sold to select locations. This creates a very complex supply chain, and we needed software to manage it.

We sent a request for proposals out to several companies. We chose Confianz because of the strength of their staff and experience in the industry. We also knew that they could comply with our security guidelines.

After we planned out our business goals, we contacted a professional systems architect to draw up our basic needs. We then approached Confianz with a fully planned-out system. Confianz is now responsible for the development work to bring the product to life.

They are more efficient in completing tasks than any developer that I have worked with, and can finish a project under a short timeline. Their work is accurate, and they are conscious of our costs.

They are expanding very fast, and a few more managers may be needed to keep their volume of work on track.

We are a BPO service company that specializes in telecom solutions. I also run a related company that offers enterprise telephony services. Both companies have used Confianz for development work.

What were your goals going into the project?

When I first took over the company, we were losing a ton of money every month. Our immediate goal was to reduce our development costs while maintaining the same quality. Our longer term goal was to find a sustainable partner to produce.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of the project?

We initially brought Confianz in to develop parts of our CRP and ERM software using PHP. They did such a good job that we decided to let them develop our entire CRP and ERM systems. We have also trusted them with developing a cloud solution for our enterprise telephone service using Java. Sometimes Confianz participates in designing the system architecture, but most of the time they work from a set of requirements that we give to them. After every development cycle is finished, Confianz works with us to iterate and improve our methods for the next project. Finally, they act as a 24/7 network operator for our telecom systems.

Is there anything that Confianz could have done better on the project?

Based on my experience working with medium- to large-sized enterprise focused outsourcing firms, it can be hard to deal with all of the layers of management. this is especially true in Asia.

However, Confianz is very different. We were usually able to interact with top management at Confianz and were given a dedicated project manager. When the project manager or develop team could not be contacted, we were given a dedicated cell phone number to contact the chief executive officer of Confianz. This was an outstanding level of customer service. The CEO is also a software engineer by trade so he can interact at a very technical level with a range of questions.

Since we first worked with Confianz, they have rehired almost every employee. They were originally running the company like an American firm, with very a relaxed work environment. This has improved, and the Confianz management has realized that they need to be operated more like other Indian firms. Since this change has happened, their productivity has greatly increased.

My name is Terry Severe, Co-founder and CEO of Fasfit Communications.

We hired them to help flesh out the rest of our app. The previous developers we worked with couldn't complete the full scope of the project which led to bugs and defects. Our goal was to create a readily available prototype for users and potential investors to test.

We found Confine through a referral that worked with them on their own app project and they were extremely satisfied. Our deciding factor was pricing, which Confianz was very fair about, and timeline, which they were quick and precise with.

The project went well, because Confianz was very responsive, transparent and insightful. Although we didn't complete the project due to internal issues on Fasfit's side, we were content with the efforts and execution received by Confianz.

We used weekly zoom meetings to touch base on updates and points that need to be addressed, along with emails to correspond outside of zoom meetings, keeping all parties in the loop.

The hospitality and accommodation that they provided without a change in the quality of work. We received stellar support from start to end.
