The scope of work with Elogic Commerce centers around involvement in several of our e-commerce projects. They provide Magento backend developers who have participated in multiple e-commerce projects, contributing to both the evolution of our platforms and their maintenance. Their responsibilities included: 

• Code Development and Optimization: The Magento backend developers worked on various aspects of our e-commerce platforms, improving functionality, enhancing the UX, and resolving issues to ensure the smooth operation of our platforms. 
• Project Maintenance: The team is also involved in ongoing maintenance tasks. They ensure that our e-commerce platforms remain updated and optimized in line with industry standards and changing customer needs.

These qualities have made them a solid partner in our e-commerce projects

They have made every effort to improve the rate and on a day-to-day basis they are committed to a quick response to any unforeseen events that may arise. We will continue to work with them.

They have improved in all aspects but there is always room for improvement in the final quality of deliverables and I know they are constantly working on this.

 It is a reliable team and has a large pool of good professionals. It is important to maintain constant contact with them and good communication in order to optimise the working relationship and ensure that it lasts over time.

Since we don't provide any ecommerce consulting or development services we did online research and found Elogic Commerce. Working with Elogic Commerce on an ecommerce development project would have been a professional and efficient experience.

From the start of the project, Elogic Commerce would have engaged in extensive communication and collaboration between the ecommerce management team to understand their needs and goals. They provided added value to the project, going above and beyond the scope of the initial requirements to deliver a high-quality solution on Adobe Commerce platform. The result would have been a satisfied client and significant online sales growth by 70% because of the commerce experience developed.

For what projects/services did your company hire b-Voir Technologies, and what were your goals?

Our goal was to develop a B2B webshop for the group's company which primary business area is  importing and selling industrial components.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We chose Elogic as our development partner because they'd had experience in web development for companies from similar industries. They also showed effective communication from the very beginning. The project estimate they prepared was very detailed and accurate (as it turned out later), even though we didn't completely define the scope at the project start.

The project started with setting up an integration between the Magento 2  platform and the company's ERP. The Elogic team copied the content of the old website and introduced a new home page design. To meet various business requirements, a range of third-party modules was installed and customized during the project. Besides this, Elogic participated in setting up the integration between the company's PIM system and the webshop.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

During the project, we communicated with the technical lead, who was passing all the requirements to the project team consisting of back-end and front-end developers. The number of people correlated well to the number of tasks, and we didn't experience any lack of resources.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was completed in time and under the estimated budget. All the set goals were achieved, and all the issues we came across were resolved in a highly professional manner.

Vasyl, our project manager on the vendor's side, was supportive and flexible. We could always get answers to our questions and  fast response to critical issues. Tasks and time tracking were very transparent, and we could see in ActiveCollab which tasks were currently in progress, who was working on them, and how many hours had been spent.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I think the Elogic team has a great attitude. There haven't been issues that they haven't resolved yet. They've constantly been improving the ways and quality of their work. They carefully listened to the customer, paid attention to the details, and were ready to give expert opinions.

I am Group IT Ecommerce Manager at Hanes Brands Australasia. We are home to some of Australia's most recognised apparel and lifestyle brands including Bonds, Berlei and Sheridan. We have engaged Elogic as they already had similar positive experience with some other large brands performing load / stress testing.

Their team was responsible to build whole load test experience for us: from load test toolset, framework, writing tests itself to executing test scenarios and performing analysis and providing reports.

We were able to deliver test framework in staggering short time, quickly improve on issues determined and significantly improve website performance.

We had a poor-quality website and needed Elogic to fix it. Our previous service provider left the website with many issues that we tasked Elogic to fix.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Elogic fixed our Magento 2 site that had many problems. Their team first did a full code review and scoped out all of the site’s issues. For example, there were a lot of issues around the marketplace functionality. Then, Elogic fixed all the existing bugs, including the issues with our email and invoicing systems. They got into the marketplace plug-in and rewrote its logic too.

Then, their team started building out new functionalities. They worked with different modules that they also customized. Elogic rolled out new features too such as geographic exclusivity to show people who bought products in their area. Their team's still moving the product forward.

We've communicated with their CEO and work with a senior project manager. We also work with four different developers but don't speak with them much.,

I actually found them through Clutch. We chose Elogic because their team quickly responded, unlike other agencies. They were also keen to work on our project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The most important metrics are the site’s speed and usability. The site was incredibly slow and Elogic made it five-times faster, which is great. They probably doubled the usability of the site if I had to put it into a metric. Their team definitely fixed the site.

How did Elogic Commerce perform from a project management standpoint?

They have a can-do attitude and are super responsive. I can send them a Skype message any time of the day or night and they’ll be on it. We use email, Google Meets, and ActiveCollab to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness is their most impressive quality. They’re really on it. Other people complain about agencies burying their projects into the mix but that doesn’t happen with Elogic. Their team always responds to us and makes requests happen then and there.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I like that Elogic started on our project straight away. However, it may have been helpful for them to have provided us with a more formal onboarding process. They could've assigned a person to set out a bit more of a road map.

If you have a Magento site and want quality work for a reasonable price, work with Elogic.

We needed someone to develop our e-commerce platform so that we could sell our products.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Elogic Commerce developed our e-commerce site using Magento 2.3. We provided specific requirements for the database and the offering that we have here in Australia in terms of the development of the price structure, calculation stacks, etc. They did integration with payment modules and our local bank. 

Recently, we implemented 3D security for credit cards. This was a collaborative effort between my company, our colleagues in the UK, and Elogic Commerce.

They also assist us with ongoing website issues and problems that may arise on a day-to-day basis. They offer full support. We will work on blogs next month.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We received what we asked of them. The website is an ongoing process, and we’re working project-by-project. We’re budgeting their service up to June 2021, and then we’ll come up with a budget for the following financial year. I have not gotten any negative feedback regarding the website.

How did Elogic Commerce perform from a project management standpoint?

We meet deadlines, and the communication is pretty open. If we go outside of an agreed-upon time frame, they communicate that there are unexpected problems or challenges that they need to invest more time in.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We get good quality for a reasonable price compared to the Australian market. They have enough resources to facilitate all of our requests. They also learn on the go. One example is the implementation of our bank merchant facility and a third party, ready-to-use application. They built the integration with the API from scratch. It works well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should not stop improving themselves, but there are no specific examples of where they should improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Agree on the strategy of the implementation and the budget, and track budget versus actuals. They provide their timesheets with a breakdown of the work they perform during the month. Their billing structure is time-based — it’s not a fixed price. Potentially for some clients, it’d be beneficial to have a fixed price.

I’m the founder of Sulalat Coffee. We are a roasting company that supplies coffee and the necessary equipment to coffee shops.

What challenge were you trying to address with Elogic Commerce?

We needed someone to help us migrate our website to Magento 2 from Magento 1 without much downtime.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Elogic Commerce helped us migrate our e-commerce site from Magento 1 to Magento 2. They also did some customization, including installing software to support Arabic writing from right to left. They put the URLs in Arabic and installed our payment gateway.

They transferred all our credentials to log in to payment services and changed our URL because we had rebranded. They also did SEO and migrated us to a new hosting service, AWS, to support Magento 2. The team tested in a test environment to ensure everything was working properly.

The project manager was our direct contact. There were frontend and backend developers, administrators, and designers on the team.

They were recommended by a few other companies. We liked some of their previous work and decided to hire them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Elogic Commerce handled each unexpected obstacle well, coming up with good solutions. For example, when our hosting provider refused to accommodate us with Magento 2, the team recommended Amazon, explaining that they had a hosting server nearby. They also switched it over very quickly. It was impressive.

How did Elogic Commerce perform from a project management standpoint?

They did a good job of managing the project. The team kept us informed of what they needed from us, as well as any progress. They checked with us before making changes and were very communicative throughout the entire process. 

They were accurate in their estimated hours for the project, and the delays that occurred were not their fault. We used Colab to see the progress, and we communicated via WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re knowledgeable, and each member has a specialty. They made the project, which was quite large, feel seamless.

No, I can’t think of anything.

Thoroughly discuss the plan. Give them all the details, especially any non-standard particulars you require. They will let you know if they can make it happen, and what is needed to do so.

We needed help with backend e-commerce development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Elogic has worked on at least three of our customers’ projects. The team has helped us with backend development on Magento and WooCommerce. We’re responsible for the UX/UI part and they’re responsible for the development part.

At the start of the engagement, we needed to create the technical assignment for our projects. We relied on them a lot for their backend development expertise, and together, we created the assignment which would satisfy both the design and development expectations of our customer. 

They also provided the project management of the whole development process. The three projects are now finished and delivered to the customer but they still supply support and maintenance.

We’re very happy working with Elogic. They deliver the same quality and time expectations that we have on the project. All the feedback we get is positive. The second and third project was from the same big customer — they were definitely a satisfied customer because they ordered the next project again.

The team was always online and very responsive to every message. They met deadlines. The deadlines included customer feedback implementation. 

We used Jira, Skype, and Telegram. We’ve also used a tool for the communication between the designers and developers.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The management system is the best part of the engagement. They also have very strong and fast-responding project managers. They responded even during non-working hours. The development is stable, like it should be.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could maybe expand in order to motivate us to give them even more projects than we currently do. They’re not limited by their size but if we work with them, we try to be gradual. Maybe in the future, just to assure us that we can scale the teams when we work on big projects in order to not just create one project at a time but several projects in a row.

Give all your requirements as detailed as possible from the new customer side in order for Elogic to understand your needs and expectations as much as possible.

What challenge were you trying to address with Elogic Commerce?

As an e-commerce consultant, solutions require development work from time to time. I’m in the position to provide options for service providers to clients. I was supposed to choose partners for clients. This project required a Magento 1 to Magento 2 migration.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

My client was a big fashion retailer with a Magento 1 website that had significant monthly traffic. They wanted to migrate from Magento 1 to Magento 2. They had a team that worked in Magento 1 and didn’t want to stop their efforts. Elogic Commerce handled the migration because their team had expertise with Magento.

We hired four developers, one project manager, and a QA teammate.

I reviewed a Magento directory and searched Google. I found two options but out of those options, Elogic Commerce had the strongest Magento 1 to Magento 2 offer. After that, I pulled up some information in the Magento directory because it was important that their team was certified.

We started the project in December 2018, and it wrapped up in March 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

There’s a significant improvement in the site’s performance. The average session duration improved as well as the overall conversions. We expect the conversions to be 20% higher with the Magento 2 build than with the Magento 1 build. There are many factors contributing to the site's improvements such as site speed and design.

How did Elogic Commerce perform from a project management standpoint?

We had stand up calls every other week and reviews every other two weeks. We also had a general call with the client every month. This was the first project that I didn’t have to intrude upon to make any changes with project management and I’ve been in this space for six years. It was fantastic.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When I chose them, they had a great phrase such as great work requires great engineers. Elogic Commerce is focused on Magento, so they’re great with Magento. We looked into companies with different capabilities but the fact that their team was committed to Magento and offered straightforward expertise were the reasons that we chose them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They listened to our feedback, which was valuable. In the beginning, they didn’t have DevOps teammates but during our commitment, they hired someone.

The most important factor is to have precise communication in the beginning to set clear expectations. If it’s figured out at the beginning, they’ll set high expectations.
