We hired Funnel Boost Media to assist us in getting more leads in our local area. We hired them to assist us and do analysis on our website to maximize our SEO presence and attract more traffic to the website. Our goal was to double our traffic and rank for more searches related to our industry.

This vendor was used in a project for a non profit that I am on the board of directors for. Funnel Boost Media did a fantastic job on the website for that company and we decided to try out their SEO services. Their prices are certainly not the cheapest but they are a fantastic value for the price. Also - Jacob and Cory make themselves very available and we didn't feel like just another number.

SEO began with a baseline analysis of our website and the "foundation" building phase. They have names for everything and took a lot of time to make sure that we fully understood their services and what Local SEO actually meant prior to everything.

I primarily worked with Ryan, Jacob, and Cory, but I know those are just the main people that communicate with Clients.

We rank in the first position for multiple keywords directly related to our services. We have only been at it a few months but the results of the SEO campaign are palpable.

Very, Very, Very organized. They have timelines and "no later than" dates for everything.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their level of professionalism. One of the owners is a military Veteran and you can feel that in the roots of the company. The team is well organized, professional, and both owners make sure they are leading from the front. I know multiple people who are veterans that I have referred and FBM has done work for free for them. They take great pride in that and in their dealings with the Veteran Community. Many of our clients are military Veterans so it was an easy choice.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I do not believe so.

We’ve only recently launched our website, so there are no quantitative metrics to share yet. However, I can confirm that Funnel Boost Media has done their part in creating a platform that resonates with our vision and services. 

We haven’t given them all the information they need to complete the web pages, but they've managed to make the most of what they’ve received from us. Overall, they’re a reliable team that delivers the results we need within quick turnaround times.

How did Funnel Boost Media perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via email and phone calls. Funnel Boost Media is an accommodating partner — they respond to our requests and inquiries in less than 24 hours and submit their deliverables on time. We never find the need to chase them for anything.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Funnel Boost Media cares about their craft and our business — that’s well reflected in the results they deliver. They are always willing to provide us with quality services at a fair price, and they adhere to our contract at all times. We’re pleased to be working with a transparent and thoughtful partner.

We’ve once ran into a minor billing problem, but their team has quickly addressed that and worked on refining their billing system to avoid similar occurrences in the future.

Conceptualize the structure of your website ahead of time — this is very important in any development project. Any partner will want to know about your preferences in design and functionality, so you have to be prepared to outline what you want. Additionally, these requirements also help them formulate the initial project cost.

What challenge were you trying to address with Funnel Boost Media?

Digital marketing wasn’t my expertise. We needed a professional in that field to revamp, redesign, and strategize in digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, and web design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We usually use Funnel Boost for SEO and PPC services. They do background research on the business or client, and then they discuss with us what’s the best route to take. Once we’ve discussed things, we start our campaign.

Since it’s a long-term game, the results don’t show overnight. When we see results, we can start manipulating the budget or moving it to other areas for strategic goals. We’ve brought in Funnel Boost to work with three clients so far, and we’ve pretty much implemented the same process.

They’ve also done web design for us. We’ve given them a brand guide with colors, logos, and fonts, and they’ve scooped and scored. Funnel Boost knows the best WordPress practices and how to make everything run smoothly and look modern.

On SEO, they do their own research. We can provide information about the customer and what we are targeting, but they handle it all independently.

What is the team composition?

We have 5–6 people on our team. First, we have contact with one of the owners. He talks to clients for financial boost and makes all the contractual sales. The other owner is the mastermind behind the SEO, but he also has his team underneath him.

Overall, we work with web development, business development, a PPC manager, and the two owners. If we need something, we know who’s in charge of what, so it’s easy to reach out to them.

We were using a national company that was doing a poor job, so I took it upon myself to research SEO digital marketing groups in San Antonio. I had a few results, but I ended up with Funnel Boost. Their website looked interesting and was super clean. It drew me in, so I reached out to them.

They called me almost immediately and talked to me about what they could do. I went forward with them because they were the only company that actually took time on the phone to understand what we were looking for. They had a personal approach, and our relationship has been nothing but uphill from there.

We’ve spent about $12,000 a month for the past two years. Some of that’s budgeted for ad spend, but that’s the overall budget that we work with Funnel Boost.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Before we started using Funnel Boost, we were averaging 250 low-authority backlinks. Now, we’re more diverse with our backlinks — we have some high, middle, and low-authority. Moreover, they help us with organic growth. We went from maybe 2,000 to 10,000 views on the website per month. We’ve also decreased our PPC spend from $9,000 to $3,000 in just one year.

Additionally, they’ve worked efficiently and quickly to get things done as we need them. Not only do they bring us clients, but they also help us to be a shepherd over the herd. When clients come in with any request or issue, we have Funnel Boost on the phone to help us get rid of that, block some things off, or redirect them. In turn, customers have less emotional distress, which helps us with branding and community relationship.

How did Funnel Boost Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re on their toes and ready to work. Whenever we ask them to do something, they get to it right away. One time, the reports didn’t appear as they should’ve, so I emailed them and immediately got a response. They were ready within five minutes.

Also, it’s very easy to work with their team. They’re personable people, and they answer our questions. In fact, their communication is one of the things I like the most about working with Funnel Boost. It goes all around from them to us, and we go back and forth through email, phone calls, and so on.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s the curated experience. Nobody wants to feel like a number, and Funnel Boost doesn’t make us feel that way. We’re a special client to them.

We haven’t run into any issues so far.

If you don’t know about digital marketing, I would recommend asking each company you’re interviewing about it to see if they tell you the truth. Don’t fall for companies that tell you they can increase your revenue.

Funnel Boost was honest, and they taught us that with SEO, we weren’t going to see results appear like magic. It takes time, and not everything is sure because you’re constantly competing over keywords and other things. Digital marketing is a constant battle, and if you’re ready to go to war, Funnel Boost is the one.

Our website hasn’t gone live yet but the quality is 100 times better than our last site. The team was able to break apart our logo and use it in the site design. The colors are more cohesive and it's more user-friendly. The quality is beautiful, and they did a really good job.

The team does extremely well. They’re extremely available and organized throughout the process. We didn’t have to repeat anything. The team took in and understood every piece of information we provided them. Overall, it was a very easy project. Within minutes, I can get an answer via email, text message, or phone call. They were extraordinarily responsive.

Their price is low because they do everything in-house. They run everything out of an office in San Antonio. They’re able to deliver $15,000 websites for $5,000 because everyone is in one spot.

No, the entire board was really impressed with their attentiveness and the overall result. They really cared about the project. The team also gave us a lot of really great ideas on how to grow and view our online presence in the future.

Our project was highly complex. FBM set an original timeline for completion and was focused on making sure the project was finished to satisfaction. The timeline of the project was aggressive and they were able to deliver the final database within a very reasonable time frame.

Good collaborative communication involving the owner, myself and key programmer. We communicated electronically using google docs and spreadsheets during the project. They responded immediately to requests and edits from my team.

I’m just going to remark on how professional this whole outfit is. People that answer phones are worth almost any dollar amount. I didn’t have time to mess with Go Daddy and get bilked while being out on the back burner. FBM is in the trenches with its customers.
