We are an e-signing company. We provide an e-signature solution to our clients that helps with point-of-sale transactions.

My role is chief product officer.

What business challenge were you trying to address with All In Mobile?

We had an iPad application that we had developed with another Polish app development company. The app was not up to our standards, and we realized that we needed to rebuild that application completely. We also needed to develop an Android application at the same time in order to meet more of our customer's needs.

All In Mobile provided a rebuild of our iPad application and built our Android app simultaneously.

A colleague who had previously worked with All In Mobile referred us to them.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

Our project fell in the range of $10,000 to $50,000.

What distinguishes All In Mobile from other providers?

The All In Mobile team is full of great guys, and they're easy to work with. We established a great relationship with them from the beginning. They invited us to their Slack channel, which facilitated good communication between our teams. They've basically become a part of our company. I look forward to continuing our work together.

Is there anything All In Mobile could have improved or done differently?

All In Mobile could have focused on providing more strategic insight when building cross-platform applications. We would have liked an expert's point of view and to hear more of their ideas or tips. They just focused on providing what we asked for rather than providing the best solution. In the end, there were some minor iterations that needed to be done during this project that could have been avoided if they had given more feedback and shared their know-how.

BACKGROUND

Please provide a description of your company and what your role and responsibilities are?

I am a board member and co-founder at Career EXPO, one of the leading career fair organizers in Poland.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

We wanted to create a multi-event solution that helps the attending companies generate more valuable traffic at the event. We also wanted to create an easy-to-use guidebook for the students and professionals attending the career fair. We knew that we didn’t have a lot of time to develop the Web CMS [content management system], and All In Mobile seemed like the best choice available.

SOLUTION

Can you discuss the scope of the project, such as what the exact services were or what the methodologies All In Mobile provided or implemented were?   

We originally partnered with All In Mobile because we needed help to finalize the Web CMS that we wanted to develop. All In Mobile provided us with all the information, background research, and valuable insight that we needed in order to develop our idea. Prior to our partnership, All In Mobile informed us that there were some premade alternative solutions for us, and that we didn’t need to hire them to create the Web CMS from scratch. They were more focused on delivering business value to us than on making our partnership just a business transaction. We found their business approach to be very refreshing.

All In Mobile created a Web CMS with our Android app. By using Scrum, All In Mobile kept us in the loop of everything that they were developing for us. This allowed us to feel like we were in control of the project. We have not set any creative or functional limits on the app. The first edition is fully functioning, but the way that All In Mobile developed it allows us to upgrade it with more features if we want to add any more in the future.

The size of the project was $10,000.

When working with All In Mobile, was there anything unique or special about them compared to other companies with which you may have worked?   

The All In Mobile team is very focused on providing its clients with the most insight and the best quality work possible. We felt like All In Mobile acted like a consulting agency, rather than a software development company. They always wanted us to make sure that we were satisfied with their work while advising us on the best decisions to make to ensure a successful project. They were very clear and transparent in their communication. We felt like they really wanted our project to succeed just as much as we did.

Looking back on the project, is there any area that they could improve upon or that you would do differently?   

The project is still ongoing, but nothing could have worked out better than it has. We are very happy with our partnership with All In Mobile.

I am the founder and CEO of a company that builds second screen apps for live sports. This allows fans to connect and compete in fantasy football [soccer] while watching live games. Watching football games becomes an interactive social gaming experience.

What was your goal for working with All In Mobile? Please describe the scope of their work.

We wanted a mobile gaming app that would be compatible with the Android operating system. We partnered with All In Mobile to develop an Android mobile app.

What was your process for selecting All In Mobile with which to work?

We found All In Mobile through our network of other app-based companies. We were specifically looking for an Android mobile app development agency, and one of our connections suggested All In Mobile. All In Mobile seemed to have some good experience with the Android operating system. After interviewing them, they seemed like they would be a good fit. They also were a great value for our money.

Can you give a sense of the size of the initiative in dollar terms or a personnel work-hour figure?

The size of the project was in the $10,000-to-$50,000 price range.

When was the work completed?

Our project with All In Mobile is still ongoing.

Is there anything unique or special about All In Mobile that really makes them stand out compared to other business partners?

Luke Konior, the All In Mobile managing partner, is very transparent. He really wants to help. He’s not just a sales guy that wants to take money out of your pocket. He looks past the development job. He wants to build relationships. That was apparent from the outset.

Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or that you might do differently?

It’s difficult to say because the project is still ongoing. But, I can’t think of anything given the work that All In Mobile has done for us to date.

We are a software consulting firm, and our primary expertise is in SAP Business One. Our main product is a connector with e-commerce for Magento.

I am the CEO.

What was your goal for working with All In Mobile?

Our customers were looking to take our applications to a mobile platform, linking Magneto to Android and iPhone apps. We didn’t have this expertise in-house, so we had to look for someone to help us with it.

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their work.

It’s quite complex because we had to build all the Web services layers around Magento. All In Mobile was responsible for essentially taking this work and turning it into a mobile app. Because mobile apps are not my specialty, I was very hands-off and let them make most of the decisions. They came with their own ideas of the best way to make the project work, and I'm very satisfied with what they've produced.

What was your process for selecting All In Mobile with which to work?

Like a lot of people, I was looking for an outsourcing partner who had a good balance between quality and cost. I did some basic online research, and settled on All In Mobile.

Can you provide a ballpark dollar figure for the size of the work that they’ve done for you?

We've spent around $15,000 so far, and are planning to increase that.

What was the timeline for the project. When did it start, and when was it completed? Is it still ongoing?

The original project started around October 2014 and was delivered one month ago [February 2015]. But, our work is ongoing in the sense that we plan to pursue more projects with them.

Can you talk about the results of the project and how you feel they performed?

I am very satisfied with their performance primarily because my client [the end user] is happy. They love the app, and are always asking to add new features. I think this high level of engagement is a testament to their satisfaction with the work. 

Do you have any statistics or metrics to show the quality of their work?

None that I can share at this time.

Is there anything unique about them that really makes them stand out, compared to other companies?

In the past, I've worked with Indian, German, and French developers, and so far regarding the reactivity and availability of the developers, All In Mobile is the best I've ever worked with. Their team is always ready, and they love what they are doing. All In Mobile is very hungry in the sense that they are focusing on building their name and delivering great services. 

Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or something that you might do differently?

I think they need to work more on testing, not the code itself, but more of the business logic. It’s natural because they’re still young, and I think it will come with experience.

A project manager and scrum master were the main points of contact. Beyond that there was a team of 4 or 5 who worked on different parts of the development and marketing

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Clients love the design and functionality of the platform. One called it: "super neat with clever localisation and very clear USBs, job well done"

Very clear and concise project plan, budget and team structure. All steps were well communicated and managed

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Very hand on, switched on and creative. It almost felt that they were part of the internal team as opposed to a third-party provider.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There was a team change in the midst of the project and it slowed down a bit of the process
