IGNIT Group undertook the development of a secure mobile application and an API-based backend system tailored for the B2G sector on behalf of QUS BODY CONNECTED. The project involved several key components, each important to the overall functionality and security of the system.

Mobile Application Development:

• Platform: The application was developed for the Android platform.
• Security: Emphasis was placed on creating a secure environment for sensitive data, implementing robust encryption and authentication mechanisms to protect user information and data transmission.
• Bluetooth integration: The mobile app was designed to interface with multiple BLE devices. These devices collect and transmit data through the app to the backend system, ensuring seamless and accurate data collection.

Real-Time API-Based Backend System:

• Data processing and storage: The backend system was built to handle real-time data sent from the mobile application. It processes the incoming data, stores it securely, and manages it efficiently to ensure quick retrieval and analysis.
• Data forwarding: Once processed, the data is forwarded to various predefined endpoints. This involves transforming the data into appropriate formats required by different systems and ensuring reliable and timely delivery.
• API development: A suite of APIs was developed to facilitate communication between the mobile application and the backend system, enabling real-time data exchange and ensuring smooth integration with other systems.

Additionally, the app is stable during transmission, which ensures a reliable user experience and high adoption rates among our target users.

I hired Ignit Group to develop a digital app and a back-end architecture for a new product category in our company. Our goal was to streamline our operations and improve the user experience for our customers by providing them with a modern and efficient platform.

Scope of Work: Develop a digital app that would improve the customer experience and streamline our operations. Create a robust and scalable back-end architecture to support the app. Project Steps: Requirements gathering and analysis development of the digital app based on UX guidelines from my team work in Agile logic and lead the overall digital workstream Development of the back-end architecture Integration of the app and back-end Testing / debug and quality assurance Deployment and go-live support

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I can't share yet since we are still in the testing phase but so far everything has been delivered in due time with expected quality.

I can say that Ignit Group's project management style was professional and effective. They used a combination of project management tools, such as Jira and Teams, to keep us informed about the progress of the project and to ensure that all stakeholders were on the same page. The team was responsive and always available to answer any questions we had, which helped to keep the project running smoothly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I found several things, the most important for me was their ability to merge within the broader team and to be part of it. next to that: Technical expertise: The team at Ignit Group has a deep understanding of the latest technology and software development trends, which allowed them to provide us with a customized solution that was tailored to our specific needs. Customer-focused: The team at Ignit Group was extremely customer-focused, always putting our needs first. They listened to our concerns, provided solutions, and went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with the results.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

like any project, there is always room for improvement. one area where Ignit Group could improve include: Greater focus on testing: More comprehensive testing during the development phase could have helped to identify and resolve any issues before the deployment phase, reducing the risk of post-deployment problems.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ignit?

We needed help onboarding onto an existing codebase and developing new features for our cloud application.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ignit has onboarded resources onto our existing codebase and maintained the system. The team has also added new features and updated existing ones. 
Specifically, Ignit has updated the Node.js version to TLS, added support for new payloads, added a new device to the system, and created a new search for devices by ID/name. The team has also created a new device screen LED status, device messages, and a list feature. Moreover, Ignit has been responsible for feature deployment, validation, and integration testing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Ignit's new features are used on our cloud application. The team has delivered a more user-friendly interface and some performance improvements, including faster load times and less time spent on users. Moreover, we've received less requests from users and partners that use the cloud app.

How did Ignit perform from a project management standpoint?

Ignit has fulfilled the promises and agreement about delivery. We communicate with Ignit via in-person meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ignit's structured project lead and open and friendly communication are impressive.
