I’m an independent business development consultant for a marketing company based in Poland.

What challenge were you trying to address with MakeING?

I partnered with them 2–3 times, but during this project, I needed support with a web app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I showed my plans to Eugene (CEO & PM) who then asked questions that I answered after communicating with my client. MakING then started working on the project. Their team provided UI/UX designs and developed the frontend of the web app.

What is the team composition?

I only communicated with Eugene throughout the project. I didn’t have any communication with other people from his team.

How did you come to work with MakeING?

I found them on Upwork and initially hired them to build a landing page. A few years later, I contacted them about other projects and hired them. The main quality that I sought was timeliness. I had to save my time and reputation with my customer and knew MakeING worked quickly.

How much have you invested in them?

I spent around $6,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started this project with them in March and it wrapped up in July 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project didn’t affect my relationship with my client considering we continue to work together. I have no complaints because my client hasn’t had anything negative to say. Eugene and his team worked quickly. Their communication, timeliness, and work were well done.

How did MakeING perform from a project management standpoint?

We worked through Upwork, which was how I tracked the project. Their communication was great, and I appreciated working with them.

I only had two weeks until the deadline. MakeING completed the project in one and a half weeks, so I had time to make revisions before I showed the product to my client.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was happy because MakeING was able to finish the project quickly. I would say bravo to them because everything was great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have no constructive feedback for MakeING.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give them a real plan. Talk to Eugene and settle all the details. I’m sure everything will be alright.

The team quickly understood my business and the project. The always asked the right questions, kept me updated on progress regularly and delivered on time. The final output was excellent.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We were in regular contact over WhatsApp and email. They did a brilliant job of always keeping me up to date on progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I felt that they genuinely cared about delivering a product that I would be happy with. He went above and beyond to ensure I would be satisfied with the end result. And I was !

No issues whatsoever !
