I’m a project manager for IGT Company, a cryptocurrency trading platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with Peiko?
We wanted to create a working product that allows users to exchange Bitcoin for dollars, euros, or other cryptocurrencies.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Peiko was responsible for the backend and frontend coding of the platform, along with its design. They implemented several security components and integrated a payment gateway. They also made a connection to Google Authenticator and made sure that the app supports QR codes.
Initially, we discussed our vision for the platform—how we saw it, and what we wanted to see on it. The technologies used were PHP, Node.js, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and Redis. The site uses HTTPS. At the moment, it’s only a web platform, but our plans for next year include making a mobile platform and desktop application.
What is the team composition?
We’re working with about five people from Peiko, including team leaders and developers. Allen (IT Project Manager, Peiko) is our main contact.
How did you come to work with Peiko?
They were a recommendation from our friends. After meeting with about 10 developers in Kiev, we decided that Peiko was the best fit for our project. They already had experience developing currency exchange and blockchain projects.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $65,000 in their services so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Peiko in December 2017 or January 2018. We’re still working together, as we have large plans for developing the exchange platform.

We’re happy with the services they’re providing. The platform has been successful, but I can’t share specific metrics about it as we’re still developing it. We’ve only attracted 500 users so far, but we’ve seen a lot of positive reviews about its speed, ease of use, and security.

I really liked the approach of the team, from the legal aspects of the paperwork to the development stage. All issues are discussed, the team is flexible in changing tasks. The pricing policy is based on real labor costs. The team always goes to the meeting both in terms of pricing and labor costs and management of the whole process.
