I'm the SVP of Marketing for an indie premium hair care brand located in Brooklyn, NY. - we are a friend to hair, to hairstylists, to people, and the planet - with our core brand values rooted in community, inclusivity, and sustainability. we have 10 collections created for every hair type, texture and style. all hair is welcome!

develop + produce a brand equity campaign to support brand's first large-scale awareness media campaign, from concept to full execution across paid video, OOH, owned website, and social channels

How did you select this vendor?

we pitched 3-4 different creative agencies for preliminary concept ideas. RXM by far displayed the strongest proposals that demonstrated an understanding of our brand + barriers, while grounding the ideas in relevant consumer insights. they were also respectful of our budget constraints as a small brand.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

- youtube brand lift studies showed strong increase in awareness for 18-24 year old consumer (+7.1% lift vs. control group) a testament to strong creative - LA Sephora stores outperformed broader Sephora stores during timeframe of OOH campaign (which ran in LA area)

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were extremely proactive with communication, set up clear project timelines, and ensured that they were met. thanks to the power of asana, we were able to keep communication between agency, brand marketing team, and internal creative team tight and contained.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

- coming from larger creative agencies, the team "gets it" from the perspective of crafting compelling creative concepts rooted into broader consumer insights, but keeping our brand values and barriers in mind - small agency, hands on from senior leadership team - great listeners, kept brand needs at core. - this project was extremely tight timing from brief to completion and the team truly stepped up and made it happen being available daily and sometimes hourly to deliver the project

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

- having more time for the entire project but that was outside the agency's control

We wanted to create an engaging AR Instagram Filter to raise awareness on our brand's reforestation efforts while giving back to the planet by planting trees on behalf of consumers using.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our brand has unveiled a new, nature-inspired Instagram filter to encourage consumers to join in on a fun, philanthropic social media activation. Consumers can participate by posting on Instagram Stories using the filter throughout the month. Two days after launch, the filter has already generated extraordinary engagement and positive sentiment amongst users!

The project was managed efficiently, with few rounds of edits, and was implemented flawlessly.
