There's a whole team from SEO Brand working on my project, but I mostly work directly with James (Project Manager), who does all the heavy lifting. Initially, I also worked with Danielle (Sales Director).

How did you come to work with SEO Brand?

We found them through a service provider search site. I looked at about two or three of these sites, and I believe Clutch was one of them. Still, I went with the one that seemed more consistent, and there I found SEO Brand.

I reached out to SEO Brand to start a conversation with them, and they quickly responded and scheduled a meeting. They were very courteous, kind, and informational, and the meeting was short. They got to the point, which was nice.

From there, we had a second, longer meeting to discuss my needs in greater detail and see what they could do for me. After that, SEO Brand presented a proposal, which I accepted. We've been working together ever since.

Since working with SEO Brand, we've seen an increase in website traffic and leads, so we're very happy about that. The traffic to our Peak 301 product page has been phenomenal, and it has led to many consumers purchasing it. I've been extremely happy with the lead generation strategy performance.

The value of SEO Brand's work for what I've paid has been worth it. I've been very happy with their performance, considering what they've achieved for me and how much it has cost to achieve it. Overall, SEO Brand has exceeded expectations regarding project management. they've been a very easy and capable company to work with.

SEO Brand has their own online project management software that we use to communicate. This software works also through email, so we communicate via email. Moreover, we have monthly phone conversations to go over project statuses.

The scope of work for website design began with the discovery and strategy phase, where they created two homepage and ten subpage wireframe mockups to optimize user flow, including necessary revisions to finalize designs. The design phase involved developing and customizing two homepage templates and ten subpage templates, with room for design revisions to ensure alignment with brand standards and our expectations. 
Communication throughout the project was maintained through an initial kick-off meeting and five additional project meetings. For SEO, the process started with a kick-off meeting, followed by a comprehensive technical SEO audit, including core web vitals and the implementation of technical fixes. Data analysis and tracking setups informed ongoing SEO strategies. 
Onsite optimizations for a Learning Management Tool Page included keyword research, content strategy, and implementation of onsite optimizations, along with recommendations and implementations for content editing, refreshing, and structured data enhancements. Similar strategies were applied to the Homepage and Consulting Page. 
A content strategy for 36 blog articles was developed, beginning with keyword assessment and followed by the creation of detailed content briefs and keyword strategies. Offsite content marketing included two press releases and two high-level public relations activities to enhance external visibility. 
Ongoing maintenance ensured regular health check-ups and page indexing. Communications were consistent with weekly email updates on deliverables' status, twelve monthly meetings to review progress, and detailed monthly reporting and performance dashboards.

We had an old e-commerce website based on BigCommerce, so I looked around for a company to help me update its design while staying on BigCommerce; it was a very important part of the project.

We cater to a 55+-year-old female customer. Thus, we needed this website to be easy to navigate and shop from. It couldn't have too many bells and whistles because my customer needed to see things in a straightforward way.

What was the scope of their involvement?
SEO Brand helped me redesign my website, implementing a fresh new look. Initially, we reviewed my current website and discussed what I liked and didn't like about its design. We also referenced other websites I liked.

After the initial call, we looked at predesigned themes on BigCommerce, and I selected the one I liked the most. Although there were many things I loved about that website, it didn't reflect my business's personality, and it had too many options I really didn't need. Therefore, SEO Brand spent a lot of time doing backend work to customize the theme and ensure that it could be applied to my products in the right way.

As a brick-and-mortar store, we sell physical gift cards, but we also sell digital gift cards through our website. As mentioned above, we cater to a more mature customer. Therefore, she was confused about what kind of gift card she was buying. One of the most unique features SEO Brand helped me with was implementing a layout on which the customer could easily see what kind of gift card was she buying so that she could get directed to the right link.

I'm really happy with how the website turned out; their work exceeded my expectations. After the website was redesigned, I saw a significant increase in visits, our conversion rate went from 0.14 to 0.27, and our revenue and orders increased.

I’ve been working with SEO Brand for nearly six months and have seen a drastic improvement in the amount of clients I’m getting. So far, we’ve gotten about 10–12 clients thanks to SEO Brand’s efforts. 

Additionally, SEO Brand has done a great job with our website revamp. The site looks great, and SEO Brand always makes any needed changes immediately. 

I had previously worked for a law firm where I had to deal with other agencies and didn’t have good experiences, so I didn’t have high expectations for this project. However, I’m happy with SEO Brand and glad I found them — they’ve exceeded my expectations. 

Moreover, Mike is amazing. He’s young and brings loads of practical experience to his work. Mike is also always available and answers all my questions, no matter what they are. Overall, he’s very professional.

They meet deadlines and stay within the budget. SEO Brand uses the budget well, resulting in good value for money. The team is also accommodating; there was a period when they suspended the campaign as needed.

Our company specialized in sustainable investing, so we needed to rank for that in three geographic areas.

SEO Brand initially did an audit of where we were, and we discussed that audit. We figured out what could be implemented, what they could take charge of, and what had to stay the same. From there, we started collaborating on SEO work. 

They’ve helped me learn about SEO and gave us suggestions for changes. Some changes are easy to make on the backend, but we have to look at everything because everything they suggest needs to be compliant with business regulations. Our internal team does our content since it has to be authentic to our voice, but SEO Brand always gives us feedback on how to optimize such content.

We’ve seen an uptick in website traffic. Our website is also on the first page of search results for specific keywords. This is the most important result for us. Since we don’t sell a specific product, the way we measure success is through the people who reach out to us after finding us on Google. We’ve seen a handful of them. I’d love to see 100 more of them, but our job is highly specific to certain geographic areas, so there isn’t a giant customer pool.

How did SEO Brand perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is fantastic, and we’ve never gone over budget. Moreover, SEO Brand works with different types of companies, including dental care, landscaping, and software companies. Our company is different because we sell relationships and not products. They can do the same SEO work for all of us, but they don’t. They approach the work from a different angle, and they’re supportive of our SEO education. 

Jinny has truly invested herself in trying to understand us as a company. Besides that, the team welcomes pushback, such as when we tell them we can’t do something they suggest. They’re also open to feedback when we tell them we don’t like one version of their outputs. As a result, I’ve learned a lot — they helped me understand how to become a good SEO client.

They’ve reduced our fees because we didn’t do some things included in their initial proposal. That kind of integrity is mind-boggling since not a lot of firms tend to do that.

Some teammates who handle backend tasks are overseas, and they’re not native English speakers. As a result, there’s a disconnect between the language that they offer versus the language that is appropriate for an English-speaking website.

You must have highly specific goals when you hire SEO Brand. Be as open and honest with them as possible if you want them to meet your goals. If you’re not happy with how things are working out, you have to tell them. If you have a question, ask them even if you’re afraid to sound stupid. 

In other words, you have to help them help you. They’re the experts; they’re the surgeon that does the surgery, but I also have to tell them what my specific problem is so that they don’t operate in the wrong area.

We needed help with SEO, marketing, and Google Ads to bring traffic to our website and store.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

SEO Brand helps us with SEO, digital marketing, and website management, and they’re also in charge of our Google Ads campaigns. Initially, they did a full analysis of our company to identify the areas where they thought they could help us improve; there were a lot because we didn’t know much about marketing and advertising back then.

During the analysis phase, SEO Brand took the time to truly understand what we were doing so that they knew the right audience to target using the right keywords. We went back and forth many times to go over the project and what we could improve. Since then, we’ve been working together on those efforts.

Now, SEO Brand helps us with our blogs, which they initially recommended. The blog posting is almost an automated process; they post our blogs on a weekly basis on a certain day at a certain time. As part of our SEO, they’ve also shown us how we can improve the way in which we list our items in Shopify so that Google recognizes them better.

As for the advertising efforts, SEO Brand mainly helps us with Google Ads, but they’ve also created campaigns for Instagram and Meta. Moreover, they’ve helped us improve our domain authority by using around 80 different platforms to promote us.

SEO Brand has also helped us with some email marketing, for which they’ve created templates and automated email campaigns. Whenever there’s an event, holiday, or sale, they usually send an email blast to our customer base.

As for website management, SEO Brand initially helped us redesign our website, creating a completely new design. We simply gave them an idea of what we wanted. Throughout this process, they worked closely with us and gave us recommendations on features they thought would be good for us. Now, they continuously help us change and modify its content and design. They also suggest what else we should do and add to the website.

Our website’s main purpose is to serve as an e-commerce site for our store. It has a blog, an about us page, a contact us page, information about who we are, and some disclaimers. Additionally, it displays our different departments.

In addition to those services, SEO Brand has helped us set everything up for international shipping, which we didn’t do before. This service has included defining the harmonized codes for our products.

We work with two managers from SEO Brand, one of whom is our main point of contact. Initially, we worked with another teammate who was in charge of the entire website design.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve been very happy with SEO Brand, and they’ve helped us a lot. Before working with them, we weren’t selling at all through our website. Now, we’ve reached almost six figures in sales with their help, so we’re very satisfied.

Additionally, we rank very high in search results for industry-related terms, such as clothing stores, shopping, and designer clothing. We’ve also seen a significant increase in our organic traffic, which continues to grow every month.

In addition to those results, our site audit percentage score has also increased. When we started working with SEO Brand, we were at 7%. Now, we’re at 88%.

How did SEO Brand perform from a project management standpoint?

We work on a fixed budget, so we haven’t faced overages there. Additionally, SEO Brand has always met their deadlines, and their work is always on point, so we’re very happy with them. 

Moreover, SEO Brand is very responsive. They answer right away when we call them, and whenever we need changes, they implement those within a few days. Moreover, when we give them an idea, they give us their input.

Our main project manager from SEO Brand is very good, so we’re very happy with her also. They send us a detailed report on a monthly basis to show us how we’re performing organically and what the health of our site is. We usually communicate via phone calls and email exchanges.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The thing we like the most about SEO Brand is that they’re very responsive, as I mentioned. Additionally, we feel like they’re go-getters; every time we work on a new project, the results speak for themselves.

There’s nothing SEO Brand could improve on; they’ve been great.
