StableLogic provided end‑to‑end delivery and ongoing support of CSCS’s core digital platforms, including CSCS Online, the MyCSCS mobile applications, and the Smart Check verification service. The scope covered service design, software development, security architecture, systems integration, and cloud operations. Work included digitising card application and renewal processes,delivering mobile and web apps, enabling real‑time card,qualification and skills verification across partner schemes, andimplementing secure APIs for third‑party integration. StableLogic also delivered operational support, security monitoring, compliance alignment, data and reporting capabilities, and a continuous improvement roadmap to support industry, government, and regulatory requirements.

Industry‑wide reach: CSCS Smart Check now supports real‑time verification of cards, qualifications, and skills for 2.3million UK construction workers across 37 partner card schemes, enabling consistent, trusted checks across the industry. Strong digital adoption: The MyCSCS mobile app has been adopted by over 600,000 construction workers, with sustainedgrowth of ~25,000 downloads per month, demonstrating strong engagement with digital services. Operational efficiency: Smart Check provides real‑timevalidation via mobile, web, and API, significantly reducing reliance on manual and paper‑based checks while improving speed and reliability of on‑site verification. Regulatory and policy insight: The platform delivers high‑qualityoperational and skills data, enabling CSCS to generate workforce intelligence and reporting to inform government, regulators, and industry stakeholders.

StableLogic performed strongly throughout, and there are no significant areas for improvement. As with any complex programme, there were moments where timelines were influenced by external dependencies, but they managed these proactively and kept us informed. We have 3 showrooms. One is our main head office where all of our staff are based. We also have two unmanned showrooms in building centres. 
In these two unmanned showrooms, we needed a video kiosk for members of the public to interact with and carry out a video call with us to get more information about our products and services. They needed to be reliable, easy to use and look professional. StableLogic delivered on all fronts. From the initial fact find call all the way through draft visuals, software development, final testing and the go live.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Success was measured through increased customer engagement in remote showrooms, higher-quality sales leads from live consultations, consistent sales experiences across locations, reduced need for on-site staffing, and reliable platform adoption by sales teams and customers.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Faiz, Joel and the team were great to deal with. Nothing was too much to ask. They immediately understood what we were trying to achieve. Communication was easy via video teams calls and instant messaging. They took testing very seriously and ironed out any inevitable bugs with the video kiosks very quickly. Everything was delivered on time and on cost.

Definitely how approachable and personable they were to deal with,. We would have teams calls where they would really spend time diving into the minutae of what we were trying to achieve, so they could ensure they would deliver. A pleasure to deal with.

I am the CEO. We provide a cloud-based platform that helps enterprises manage and optimize IT expenses across cloud, telecom, and mobility, offering AI-powered dashboards for cost control, inventory management, and process automation.

What challenge were you trying to address with StableLogic?

We engaged StableLogic to support the design and delivery of a scalable, cloud-based IT expense management platform. Our objectives were to modernise the underlying architecture, improve data accuracy and visibility across cost centres, and enable automation around reporting, optimisation, and governance. 
We also wanted to ensure the platform was secure, resilient, and able to support future growth, including the integration of AI-driven insights and additional cloud services over time.

StableLogic supported the end-to-end delivery of our cloud-based IT expense management platform. Their scope included discovery and requirements definition, cloud architecture design, and building core platform components.

The platform is now the primary source of truth for IT and cloud spend, supports increased data volumes and users, and provides a scalable foundation for ongoing optimisation and future enhancements.

StableLogic’s project management was structured, transparent, and well governed. They worked to clear milestones and maintained regular communication through status updates and review sessions. Scope changes or dependencies were identified early and managed collaboratively, ensuring consistent progress and smooth delivery.

Overall, the project was well delivered. Earlier involvement from a wider set of internal stakeholders on our side could have accelerated decision-making in the early stages. As the platform evolved, we identified opportunities to prioritise certain enhancements sooner, which StableLogic was receptive to and adapted quickly. They were open to feedback and flexible in adjusting their approach as requirements became clearer.
