I’m a co-founder of an e-commerce retailer in India. We acquire and incubate various brands and sell products on various platforms such as Amazon or Shopify.

We hired Statfinity to collect data and analyze it to improve our business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Statfinity is providing us with data analysis and visualization. We work closely with them to build queries through SQL and dashboards like Google Data Studio to create understandable reports.

They also advise us on the best possible routes to better understand data analytics.

I mainly work with two people from their team.

I was searching for freelancers on Upwork when I came across Statfinity. We wanted a vendor who would cater to our needs and they were the best company that could accurately provide us with what we were looking for.

We’ve spent somewhere between $1,500–$2,500 on this project so far.

What is the status of the engagement?

We started our engagement in January 2022 and it’s still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The engagement is going smoothly, as we’re constantly connected to their team through Slack. They’re usually very prompt whenever I share a new requirement, and they deliver their tasks almost immediately.

In terms of success metrics, the delivery timeline is the most important thing because they don't work with us as an in-house team, and they usually adhere to that.

How did Statfinity Private Limited perform from a project management standpoint?

Their approach to project management helps us identify efficiencies in our system and new avenues for revenue growth. The current structure is supportive of our requirements because they’re simpler and smaller in scale.

We typically communicate through Slack and track the progress of the project on Google Sheets.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re very impressed with their responsiveness and communicative approach.

Are there any areas they could improve?

What they can do to improve their process is give clients a pre-designated format as a way to communicate the requirements better.

Any advice for potential customers?

I advise you to spend a lot of time bringing them up to speed with respect to your current situation and understanding, so they can have complete clarity about your needs — specify whatever requirements you need to in a very clear and objective manner so there will be no miscommunications.

We hired them to help us understand complex data we have to help in creating complex bigquery sql coding which can ring our data at one place and easy to analyze.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We applied through Upwork and selected them based on their past experiences which matched things which we were looking for.

The Project deals with complex day to day data from various servers which are then read in Bigquery using SQL complex coding . These and they analyzed y creating dashboard. Also, some are been processed as JSON report.

Their founder was our main point of contact but then there were other people from there team who helped us here.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Switching to Bigquery help to easily understand a structured process of data. They help us in building great dashboard and queries which help in understanding our revenue cost and profit margins.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were a very reliable team . Quick to respond on slack . If there were any changes, they finished within the given timeframe.

It was comforting to see their professionalism and working style which they brought based on their past experience.

Sometimes reports can be hard to understand but they did their best to communicate in best possible way
