We needed custom software built for specific needs that required the use of both AI and blockchain.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our company is a startup, so our product needs development, design, and research. Superscript Systems Ltd has helped us with all of those stages. We’ve gone into full-on development of the technology. Over time, we continue to add new modules and elements.

We have an extensive wireframe and documentation process, so we have the benefit of both visual and philosophical theory and construction ahead of actually building the software. I’ve brought on a designer specifically for some of our artistic components, and Superscript Systems Ltd has built the front- and backend of the platform. They work well with the designer. 

We use blockchain for real-world asset tracking alongside AI for contract interpretation. We utilize Stripe’s APIs to create a fully functional payment system. Superscript Systems Ltd has integrated Stripe as our payment processor and utilized Stripe’s AML and KYC tools. They’ve created a very intuitive flow across the platform to bring all of that together into a one-stop shop platform.

We went through a bidding process between Superscript Systems Ltd and other development houses. We went with them because they showed the prowess we were looking for and had a competitive pricing model.

Additionally, I had relationships and connections with some technology builders in other fields. I had some introductions when it came to a triple bidding scenario. I was on a Polygon Discord because I knew that we needed Polygon as the blockchain we were going to build with. Superscript Systems Ltd came as a referral from some of the users on that Discord.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The project started off much smaller, and we’ve been able to continue to build it over an extended period of time. It’s become much bigger, and Superscript Systems Ltd is very good at adapting and increasing the capacity of what we can do.

Within the first couple of months of going live, we’ve been able to onboard over 100 users who have been on the waitlist. We’ve also had over 1,000 titles brought onto our platform and over 3,000 contracts uploaded onto our platform. If there are any bugs, we never experience crashes. We’ve had fewer bugs than we might have anticipated in building something as complicated as we built and as quickly as we built it. Whenever something happens, they’re very quick about addressing it.

How did Superscript Systems Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is excellent. They’re prompt and very clear. They do a great job of being very clear about what the objectives are and hitting those benchmarks on a timely basis. We use Slack as our primary form of communication. We also use Trello and Sketch.io.

I’m not a technical person, so I really value that they’re able to communicate specifics to me of a complicated nature.

What did you find most impressive about them?

There’s never anything they can’t do. If I have a new idea, they find a way to make it happen, even if it requires new technologies and new integrations.

No, there aren’t any.

Don’t be afraid to share with them the big picture. They’ll be able to digest it, understand it, and help you design something as effective as it can be. It could be potentially even more effective than you anticipated.

Exilion Technologies Inc developed an NFT platform for us. We started with a discovery phase; we researched for a couple of months to decide how we wanted to implement our NFT software. After that, Exilion Technologies Inc started implementing our plan until we had a proof of concept. After that, we spent a couple of months polishing the software.

The software was an NFT platform with blockchain functionality. The second item they built was the backend on top of the database. This layer helped us connect the data from the blockchain to the frontend implementation. We’re not the end user of this software; we’re selling it, so we don’t have specific metrics in regard to the software's performance.

We had very transparent communication. I had an understanding of all of Exilion Technologies Inc’s processes, and we were able to mitigate all issues pretty well. Transparency was one of the reasons we were so successful in terms of money and time management.

I’m the founder and CEO of AMLOK, a B2B decentralized application built on the blockchain. We allow real estate companies and other businesses to create and manage fractional asset ownership.

It’s hard to break down the red tape of accessing liquidity for business expansion plans and to open franchises, and we saw a lack of liquidity in the real estate market. Companies were struggling to sell and offload properties and needed a place to break down these pieces into fractions on an intuitive platform to help find everything and manage it. 

We hired Exilion to build this platform to make it easier for real estate companies to access more liquidity and sell properties faster at their desired prices.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The platform as a whole is a decentralized application. The project's first stage was gathering data and involved a brainstorming process. Exilion was transparent about what they advised for the platform and the features they thought would make the product most successful. 

Phase two focused on finetuning everything that we came up with. We are currently in phase three, which has been all about QA and making sure we’re prepared for the proof of concept phase. 

We’re building a white-label platform to allow users to leverage blockchain in the most effective way possible. With this platform, we can go to a company and look at the properties that have been in their pipelines for the longest time. The property will be minted into multiple NFTs, and users will be able to launch a campaign with a fundraising goal that gets sent out to all of that user's investors with an automated email. 

The page will allow investors to invest directly in the NFTs and will be governed by a smart contract that allows the investor and the real estate to maximize the yield generated without having any middle person. 

Our expansion plan includes becoming the kickstarter of Web3 and to allow anyone who wants to expand but cannot get liquidity from their bank or an investor to do so. Users can launch a campaign with a date and time, and people can invest in the project and give back real-world yield based on the performance of this real-world asset or business. 

Exilion’s developers are full stack blockchain developers, and the language used on the platform is Solidity to run the smart contracts on Ethereum.

They’re highly professional and follow up consistently. They don’t ask questions unless they really can’t find an answer, and all of the questions they ask are thoughtful and don’t waste our time. They almost always finish with days to spare on the deadline, and the work is never rushed. 

Exilion uses a time tracker on their end that gives us breakdowns of where time is being spent so we can look when we get an invoice. We use Telegram and Zoom for communication, and Google Docs and Sheets for strategy and brainstorming. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve really become an extension of the team and offer us honest guidance on what they think is going to be the most successful for us. We really appreciate that Exilion is affordable but still provides talented developers. We’re blown away that we’ve been able to find this kind of top-tier talent for this price. They go above and beyond to provide us with high-quality, and it feels like they care about what they’re providing us. 

We feel relaxed working with Exilion, especially being able to work with their CEO. The team is proactive, and they go out of their way to think about things that they could potentially add; it’s never to add cost, but rather to let us know about other options that are out there. We trust them fully because they give us such a high level of transparency.

Our system handles the entire business of the exchange. We need different expertise from different teams to work on the various aspects of the project to make the system function properly.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Exilion is one of the teams that put together the architecture of our microservices. They work on our API layer that our clients use to interact with our platform. They also handle the messaging tool that connects different microservices. Additionally, they check that all transactions are valid before they go to the exchange. 

We have to make an exchange engine that is compliant with securities laws while being flexible so we can reconfigure based on the country we go to, and Exilion is helping us with that. They’re also supporting the development of our wireless service, which manages all the different Blockchains.  

In addition, Exilion assists us in coming up with the architecture for supporting all the parts, pieces, and the overarching business logic of all of the independent institutions.

Recently, we tasked Exilion with a deployment project. They put together availability, disaster recovery, and performance tests. They made sure users had what they needed for an optimized experience. Their team had also implemented tweaks after the tests.

We’ve been able to meet the project’s deadlines with Exilion’s help. Everyone from their team goes all in during crunch times. As a result, we always get our desired results, and we can deploy on time.

Exilion’s scheduling is fine, but their communication can be improved. Sometimes, I’ve thought specific tasks were in progress, but they were already done. I occasionally miss out on communication, and it’s partly because the project is extensive, and a lot is going on to coordinate. 

Additionally, Exilion doesn’t have any problem working with other development teams. It’s a massive project, and one team can’t handle everything — we need the expertise and collaboration of multiple groups. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We like their work ethic. One of their teammates has worked an 18-hour shift just to make sure that they got through. 

In addition, Exilion’s team is not timid to argue. Some people may not like that, but I prefer that in my line of work. I want to get the best results for our clients and users, and I don’t need yes-people on my team. 

Sometimes, we battle it out, but at the end of the day, we get results. After arguments, we go back to our professional status, and no feelings are hurt — that’s how we work together, and we’re comfortable like that.

They can improve on their communication and updates. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure that you hash out differences. Don’t be overly sensitive and leave your egos behind. Someone might have an idea or way of doing something that’s just bad. If you can’t call out the other party, you won’t get the best of the engagement — that applies both to the vendor and the business owner. 

In addition, ensure that subject matter experts are part of the conversation and that communication is open both ways.

Exilion developed the web-based platform on Ethereum and Solidity and made it compatible with Binance Smart Chain and Polygon. We relied on the team to put together the algorithms for the staking pools, which are quite complex. 

Their team also built protocols on existing borrowing and lending platforms to allow us to deposit or withdraw money on behalf of our users. Exilion also created a function that could enable us to pay out in tokens on a dividend basis where users who have a certain stake in an entity could get a portion of the interest for that.

We work with a core group of six people. Michael (Principal & CEO) is my main point of contact. 

How did you come to work with Exilion Technologies Inc.?

They were recommended by a friend. Michael came to really like our idea and agreed to help set up our company and our platform. 

How much have you invested with them?

The initial cost is $120,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Full-time development started last May 2021 and is currently ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our marketing team is now working on user adoption, and so far, people love the platform. It’s functioning in a way that’s never been done before and the feedback that we’ve gotten for it is great. Because of the technology that Michael and his team built, we’ve been able to partner with a largely influential company in the crypto space. It’s not due to any fancy marketing scheme, but solely because of the way Exilion executed this completely original concept.

How did Exilion Technologies Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Our communication is great. Michael is solid at being the midpoint between his team and our company. They hit the deadlines despite me requesting additional little developments along the way. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

What really stands out to me is how I can trust the Exilion team. They have high character in a space that is racked with vultures and scammers. Michael, in particular, is an extremely trustworthy and competent individual. I can’t see myself working with anyone else.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I hope to be able to talk more readily to other members of Michael’s team, but I understand that there are some language issues there. I’m a communicator, so I’ve been a little over-reliant on Michael than I prefer.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be organized and, to the best of your ability, communicate your requirements point-by-point. I was initially worried that I wasn’t communicating things properly, but when I began to understand how best to get my ideas across, I’ve never had an issue.
