Cart Coders were instructed to develop a Wix App which would allow customers to sign up to Hike via Wix and have a deep integration with Hike allowing Hike to implement SEO changes via the Wix plugin.

Their project management was poor. While initial conversations suggested they understood our requirements, once the project began the approach changed significantly. The plan of action was overly complicated and not aligned with our needs, introducing unnecessary systems that would have been difficult to maintain.

They did not deliver anything tangible during the time we worked with them, despite claiming significant hours had been spent. When we raised concerns, the team were defensive rather than collaborative. Overall, they did not respond well to our needs and we had to part ways before any meaningful progress was made.

The most impressive aspect was Dipen’s ability to communicate confidently in the initial discussions. He presented the company well and spoke convincingly about their experience and capabilities. Unfortunately, that first impression didn’t carry through once the project moved to the wider team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something CartCoders could have done differently?

Yes, several. CartCoders could have:

• Provided a realistic and straightforward plan of action instead of introducing unnecessary complexity.
• Been more transparent about the actual work completed and how hours were being used.
• Responded to feedback in a collaborative way rather than becoming defensive.
• Honoured refund requests for unused hours to maintain trust and professionalism.

Had they focused on clear communication, practical solutions, and accountability, the experience would have been very different.

It was difficult to find a partner who understood the specific requirements of our industry. However, the team were extremely attentive to understanding all of my concerns and were always available throughout the process if any changes were suggested by me.

Scope of Work: The solution proposes to develop a web platform using Shopify that seeks to reduce wastage of short-dated foods & cosmetics by offering them to consumers at attractive discounts and with transparent information. The application will be a default Shopify web store, making it easily accessible to a wide range of users.

By providing an easy-to-use platform and an efficient administration panel, the solution aims to make the experience of selling and purchasing products that are about to expire seamless and convenient for all users.

Key deliverables:

1. Seamless customer experience
2. Transparent and clear positioning of all product details including the remaining shelf life of products and associated discounts
3. Ability to communicate the core mission and vision of the business via multiple assets on the website

Cartcoders project management is truly laudable. All through the project, we had a single point of contact (which made the communication very streamlined, efficient and structured. We worked remotely for the entire project but the response to our messages from the assigned (POC) was almost instant, meticulous and prompt. CartCoders stuck to all the delivery timelines. Overall,I would give them a 5/5 for their project management.

We hired CartCoders as our development partner for the Ecommerce projects and ongoing maintenance of some websites. These projects range from developing eCommerce websites for different industry segments to building unique page designs, fixing issues, and adding new features to existing projects, also developed a few websites from scratch as well.

We researched Shopify support partners and found about a dozen to reach out to. I met with many agencies and went through a proper proposal process, and finally, I decided on CartCoders based on their portfolio, expertise, professionalism, and offerings.

One of our clients wanted to develop an eCommerce website for their Textile business. The client wants to develop functionality where half of the products should be imported from the Amazon FBA, and the remaining should be uploaded from the backend. The client wants to integrate the NetSuite Inventory Management system with the store. So, we developed the complete website and even helped the client with the theme selection throughout the process.

Our client had a strict deadline to complete it. and with the help of the CartCoders team, we achieve the same within the given timeline, starting from the theme customizations to development and deployment. At the later stage, we included other functionalities also, which were the result of their working style and feedback.

CartCoders has been flexible in its communication methods. We prefer a particular ticketing system, and CartCoders now uses that for our projects. We have asked for specific updates via email. CartCoders has delivered what we've asked for.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The responsiveness from the team has been the most impressive part of our relationship. Even the Project Manager is very particular about things and holds tight command of everything which helps avoid any delays in tasks and the overall project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

To be very honest we have yet not found any such difficulty to improvement point for team Carcoders
