EZ Rankings provided SEO services. I started by giving them 3–4 projects and they did some keywords research and implementation for 4–6 months. I needed to rank for 15 keywords and wanted 4–5 keywords to show up on the first page within three months. In six months, I wanted all of my keywords to show up in the top 10 or top 20 search results.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m very disappointed with the partnership. EZ Rankings never fulfilled their commitment. I worked with them for months and got not a single keyword on the first page of search results. They provided me with a monthly ranking and analytics report, but I was not satisfied with their SEO services. They were only able to rank 25%–30% of the list keywords that I gave them.

Whenever I complained about their work, they would ask for another month, blaming their ineffectiveness on Google’s changing policies and regulations. I had experts in digital marking look into their work and found out that what they were doing wasn’t good at all.

How did EZ Rankings perform from a project management standpoint?

Whenever I contacted them, they listened and responded well. Their communication was good despite the outcome of their work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One good thing about EZ Rankings is that they were cooperative. From time to time, they implemented changes in the content on my website.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They need to fulfill what they commit to. If they can’t get us to rank on time, they should change the team and have more experienced people in their company.

If you’re not satisfied after 1–2 months, you should be strict and ask them to fulfill the commitment.

We’re very satisfied with the results. EZ Rankings has improved our user count and visitor times. We’ve gotten an increase in users of 30% in two months. In addition to that, we are first-place ranking for some keywords.

EZ Rankings has Basecamp in place, where we can check the progress of everything being done. They also help us whenever we have a problem with page-loading speeds on desktop or mobile, even though that’s not in their scope.

We haven’t had any problems with deadlines —  whatever they promise, they deliver on time.

There’s nothing that they could improve.

I am the Commissioner and Founder of the Staten Island Basketball League. We are one of the oldest leagues in New York City as we enter our 41 st year of operation.

We needed to find a company that would help us create a viable web site so that we could increase number of players, provide a site for our advertisers, be able to blog, post fotos and TV interviews, videos, etc.

Our key goal was to make people aware of our group, its rich history, to bring on more players, to add more advertisers.

I reviewed a number of vendors via Skype meetings and conf calls mostly in the USA and a handful overseas including EZ Rankings. I felt after all the Skype meetings, conferences and viewing the work that these companies did that EZ Rankings would be the group to go with.

My initial concern was speed of communication a they are in India and we are in New York but my concerns were unfounded.I have been able to reach various people at the company day or night, weekends, holiday etc. In fact in many ways communication with them is better then communicating with some groups in New Jersey.

The projects was to build a viable website from beginning to end and then to maintain that website relative to updates, security, changes , add-ons etc. They provided all services needed initially and on going.

The impact of their work has been powerful and measurable: we receive numerous "hits" per day., inquiries, telephone calls. We have been able to add over 50 new players past few years and increase the number of advertisers on our site.

Each of the professionals I listed had various responsibilities from project management to implementation to follow up/ Well organized

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Communication, honest, directness, professionalism, creativity, implementation, follow up. Historically American people like myself always seem to feel that using companies based overseas to do work for them like what EZ Rankings does us does not work. They have built in biases to working with foreigners which is wrong but has always existed.

Because of my own personal background of having interfaced with people form all over the world during my DHL Airways day I came to understand that people form all over the world can be worked with. In particular I have always looks at India as a fascinating country. Not only because of a rich thousand plus years history but because technologically they are quite advanced as evidenced by EZ Rankings and there people.

We have approximately 15–20 keywords that have started ranking in the top 10 search results. We’ve been working with a package of approximately 30–40 keywords out of which about 25–30 percent of them have not listed in the top ten. We’re a satisfied customer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

EZ Rankings built us an incredible, highly ranked platform without breaking the bank. The exceptionally beautiful and functional site delivers an incredible user experience for our customers. It really looks breathtaking. Their success is unprecedented in our past experiences with other SEO teams and companies we own.

Most importantly, their SEO and PPC marketing strategy yielded major success. We couldn't be more impressed and happy with the results. Their best-in-class web design obtained real SEO results. Our rankings started at a baseline of zero. Now, we rank in the top 10 for numerous long and shorter longtail keywords. These competitive terms yield significant search volumes for our company.

Holding regular status meetings with the two project managers streamlined the workflow. It was by far the best I've experienced with an SEO and web design firm. We could track daily progress in Basecamp, and nothing got lost in the shuffle.

I’ve been using them for 8–10 years. Each time I’ve worked with them, they’ve significantly improved our rankings. We’re consistently on the first page of Google for all of our key target keywords, and we have about 30 keywords. They’re extremely good. $46,000 over four years to get top rankings on Google is a very good investment.

I get a report outlining the keyword positions and how they’ve moved over time. We have regular interaction with them.

They’re very consistent, reliable, and candid. They don’t make promises that they can’t deliver. If I tell them what I’m looking to achieve, they’ll find a way to do it for me.

I haven’t had any issues with them. I had found a few links that had expired and they replaced the links for nothing. That only happened one time and it was immediately corrected.

You can negotiate—we received a small discount based on the volume of our business with them. They’ve always been great to work with. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I’m very happy with them, as they do a good job. Once in a while, I get references from their other clients, and they have all good things to say about them.

They send me a complete detailed report every month. One is about how the keywords are doing against all the parameters on submission to different directories. On a monthly basis, they also share the channel report from Google Analytics, and another analytics reports from Google. In addition, they compile a spreadsheet which covers all the areas; link building, social networks, and other tabs. After I glance through it, I forward those to my end users.

We usually communicate through emails, text messaging, and one the phone. So far, we have used Google Docs, OfficeSuite as well as Excel. We haven’t had the need to use any collaborative tools.

They are very driven and motivated, and it is good to talk to them because they always have a positive attitude.

They are fairly accurate when they make a prediction, in the sense that they are committed to bringing our ratings up. They work well within the timeframe they give.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They are on the right track, but it would be helpful for customers if they brought in some more automation and more illustrations on their reports. Not that anyone has said anything, but I think as we move on, it would be good to keep striving for a better way to present the information.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They work best if they have an interface in between. If someone needs to have SEO work done and they are in the US or anywhere else, it would be easier to work through someone interfacing in between, as it works out pretty well. I have worked with a lot of overseas service providers, and as I am from the same culture, the language barrier is not there. I find them easy to work with.
