HighMatch partnered with The Idea Studio to create realistic video job previews.  These short-form videos (2-3m) include on-site interviews with existing employees in the role and their leaders, helping to paint a picture of both the challenges and opportunities related to the role and provide insight into the work environment.  They followed a Q&A format, and were augmented with background shots of employees performing the work, as well as aerial footage of the locations and broader work environment.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

These realistic job previews were built by our company on behalf of our clients, with the ultimate goal of refining the candidate pool by showcasing the responsibilities and work environment a candidate could expect should they join a client's company.  They were effective in that regard.

The IDS team were excellent project managers, both on projects with tight timeframes as well as those that stretched out due to client-side delays.  They consistently delivered high quality items in advance of the due date, and were highly responsive at all times.  We agree at the outset to a production and post-production schedule, and they always hit those dates without fail.

After completing several projects with IDS, we really view them less as vendors and more as strategic partners.  They are exceedingly professional, to the point where we have them directly join client calls and run point when on site at our client's locations.  The quality of the work is unparalleled; every client they have worked with has raved about the quality of the video, which in turn reflects positively on our company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something The Idea Studio could have done differently?

I can't think of anything they could have done better.  The work is impeccable, the project management is top notch and at the end of the day they are really good people who I enjoy working with and trust to support our company's critical needs.  What more could you ask?

We had the pleasure of working with The Idea Studio. Our objective was to produce a video that not only highlights our company but also showcases our service expertise and past projects. We aimed to spotlight our achievements through testimonials from our clients. To achieve this, the project encompassed: 

• Developing a comprehensive storyboard for the video, complete with a timeline. 
• Crafting a clear video script to guide us. 
• Coordinating every element of the video shoot, from the camera crew, hair and makeup, to lighting, location, and sound. 
• Editing of the captured footage, inclusive of on-location sound and music adjustments.

A corporate video was created. The Idea Studio also provided images from screenshots from the video for us to use for marketing.

As a small marketing team, we sought a video company to spearhead the entire project. The Idea Studio not only stepped up to the challenge but also delivered exactly what they promised. The Idea Studio was exceptional throughout our video production process. They assisted in conceptualizing the video script and storyboard, managed the shooting and editing seamlessly, and were a breeze to collaborate with. 

They promptly grasped our requirements and executed our vision within the stipulated time and budget. I greatly valued The Idea Studio's flexibility, especially when we had a last-minute change on the filming day. This adjustment shifted our entire filming schedule, but they seamlessly accommodated it.

Their work is high quality and they bring unmatched knowledge and expertise to the table. I will definitely be working with The Idea Studio for future projects.

For what projects/services did your company hire The Idea Studio, and what were your goals?

The Idea Studio worked with our US and Mexico teams to create a 3-minute white-label video for one of our clients. The projected included different locations in the US and abroad and used both traditional and aerial (drone) image capture.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I have known Todd for a long time and have been looking for a chance to work with him and his team. When this opportunity came, I knew exactly who to call. It also helped that his quote was much more cost-effective than the other alternatives we've looked at.

Todd and the team worked with us from script to final delivery, helping to streamline the production process and identify challenges that we would have. Their team in Mexico was amazing and extremely helpful; they shot every scene multiple times from different angles and explored ideas to add production value to an otherwise plain business documentary.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

In the US, I worked directly with Todd. But it is even hard to describe it as work; he is always fun to be around, and the time we worked on the script and getting details adjusted was always great. His team in Mexico was also great to work with and made a full product day in the heart of the country easy.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our client and we were extremely happy with the deliverables and flexibility they had to work around our availability.

Due to my prior relationship with Todd and experience with video production we co-direct the project very easily, but I'm sure that he could take the job and run with it entirely without me knowing anything about video production.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Due to our time constraints, they were very flexible with rescheduling and came over prepared, which allowed us to explore different takes for the shoots we had to make, tremendously increasing the production value.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything was great. I'm looking forward for another opportunity to work with The Idea Studio's team.

We've work with the top executives and conduct meetings with our staff and their staff. From storyboard creation, to proofs, design etc. we are given the opportunity to have input on all components to ensure our goals are met.

We have won numerous tourism awards from our ads to creative jingle. Our marketing partners always comment on our TV and radio/social media support with the creative from The Idea Studio.
