We wanted to develop a complex networking application for iOS.

We searched for developers and found AMS. We had great conversations about the development and future of the application!

We had a series of collaborative conversations about the scope and design of the application. The design process was very smooth with careful attention to detail on both sides. The development was on time and very enjoyable.

What was the team composition?

We had a project manager who we spoke directly to. He was great to communicate with. We had a designer that provided great work and a developer that had great skills.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In 2 months we finished development and are working on setting up a beta test launch. Everything looks great and is functioning well.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Every thing was very smooth, great communication and accessibility.

For what projects/services did your company hire AMS LLC?

As a Canadian-based development agency, we specialize in web development and are always looking for reliable mobile development agencies to partner up to fulfill our clients’ requests. It’s always tricky when searching for a good offshore dev shop, especially a specialized one with good communication processes & good quality development. We were building a web-based e-commerce shop and needed a mobile application done for our client.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to develop a mobile app that matched our existing websites user flow that big companies like Shopify provide to their merchants.

How did you select this vendor?

We connected on LinkedIn and I needed mobile development work done. We were pretty skeptical at first place, but during the call with their CEO Stan I could see they were professionals we can trust with previous ecommerce apps experience was also a relief for us.

Describe the project in detail.

Wireframes & prototyping of a mobile application from existing website, specification development, native iOS & Android app development, connection with our APIs, regression testing, launching the product to Apple and Google Play stores. They pretty much took care of everything connected with app development.

What was the team composition?

We’ve been working with their project manager and members of their dev team. They were constantly on calls with us helping us to solve technical problems & address issues pertaining to iOS and Android. They also a few designers, iOS developer, Android developer and QA specialist.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They totally got their part of the work done without almost any involvement from our end - so we were able to focus on the backend of the product. The client was pretty happy with the app and we are continuing our work to improve his business.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Clear communication, weekly calls, up-to-date and clear project management boards. Questions were addressed quickly & we felt as they constantly have someone on their end to answer any of our requests.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were experts in mobile development, ability to take care of the whole process from their end, expertise within our project (e-commerce development) and communication.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I’ve been sitting and thinking about this question for 20 minutes already - it’s pretty strange but I can’t recall anything to improve when working with these guys. Maybe something will come up to my head in the future, but the work done was really great.
