I’m the CEO of Code with Antonio, an IT company that provides high-quality developer education material.

What challenge were you trying to address with LUMARIS Studio?

My developer education content requires a high-retention demo/trailer video featuring the most important aspect of the content. This is crucial to establish as it will make or break the success of the tutorial.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

LUMARIS Studio has produced intro/trailer demo videos for developer education content, as well as thumbnails, shorts, and other media content. The team has created high-retention intro/trailer demo videos for each of my courses using their vast knowledge of developing software in combination with my tutorials. LUMARIS Studio has produced media assets for 12 high-quality courses for developer education. Alongside that, they’ve proposed multiple solutions to discover what works best for our taste. The team has also produced different variations of media assets for A/B testing, provided modifications of created content, and always delivered on time.

We started working with them in April 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our developer education content has a notoriously low retention rate due to the videos being extremely long (12+ hours). This is because people don't usually find a 12-hour video and decide to watch it all at once. Our goal was to increase the watch time of said videos to a minimum length of the intro/trailer demo. This is exactly what LUMARIS Studio has achieved by increasing our total watch time to almost every viewer watching the entire intro (the most important part when it comes to "acquiring" a viewer for later).

On top of that, clicks on the video quantitatively increased with their thumbnail media assets provided. Specifically, our watch time has increased from 30 seconds to 10 minutes, which roughly follows the length of the intro. Our CTR has increased from 6% to 12%. On other socials like Twitter/X, the intro can be used as a trailer as well, and announcement impressions have changed from 1,000 views to 50,000+ views per post. Moreover, we've received countless requests from viewers asking who is doing the intro and how it clearly shows what the content will be about. We've also received requests from companies and CEOs reaching out to connect with LUMARIS Studio's video editor for their technical content.

How did LUMARIS Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

LUMARIS Studio delivers extremely well even under high pressure and late notice. Our primary form of communication with them is virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

LUMARIS Studio has extremely responsive communication, fair pricing, and agreements on anything needed. The team has a deep understanding of my needs. They don't do a one-size-fits-all solution; they specifically tailor their services to my needs, my brand, and my audience.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing to criticize, as everything has been easily resolved through communication. If something isn't to my liking, it's even excluded from billing.
