What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We track progress through software delivery milestones and success through business metrics, such as the time to onboard new customers and customer support ticket volume and duration. We’re still in the process of tracking, so we don’t have delivery success metrics yet. However, the impressions have been positive.

How did Qubstudio perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate through virtual meetings. Qubstudio hasn’t delivered on time, but I don’t think it’s their fault. Our industry is extremely new and doesn’t benefit from many of the design conventions already in the marketplace of ideas. It’s hard to estimate effort in such an industry, and we knew that going in.

Their openness to new ideas and solving problems in creative ways is impressive.

We wanted to collaborate with a UX designer to help bring our concepts and ideas to life within the app. This includes leveraging their expertise in market research and user behavior to shape innovative features, as well as designing intuitive UI components. A key part of this is mapping the end-to-end user experience to ensure the app is cohesive, user-friendly, and aligned with user needs.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Qubstudio delivered a range of key features and improvements across the app. This included designing a new interactive sober timer that supports personalized display preferences, highlights financial impact, and allows users to track multiple addictions simultaneously.They also introduced both passive and active check-in experiences, along with a centralized dashboard that brings together these features in a clear and accessible way, alongside a dedicated support section.In addition, they redesigned the user profile and onboarding experience to improve usability and first-time user engagement. They also provided mock-ups for enhanced post functionality and home feed filtering, helping to create a more tailored and user-friendly content experience.Qubstudio was responsible for the design phase but supported the development team throughout the implementation phase by answering questions, clarifying designs, and providing guidance where needed to ensure the final build aligned with the intended user experience.They also played a key role in the early stages by helping to define and refine requirements ahead of the design phase, ensuring clarity, alignment, and a strong foundation for both design and development.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Qubstudio provided Figma designs at each stage of the process, and our development team actively utilized them during implementation. The clarity and level of detail in these designs helped reduce ambiguity, resulting in fewer issues being identified during QA and a smoother overall delivery.We've seen a significant increase in engagement following these changes. Amplitude metrics show that posting activity has doubled with the new sober timer compared to the previous version.We've also seen an increase in users providing profile data, improving user attribution and giving us better insights overall. Adoption of the new dashboard has grown, with more users actively accessing and engaging with it. In addition, retention has improved, with approximately one-third more users reaching the one-month milestone after the introduction of the check-in feature.We're currently developing the new onboarding experience and expect it to reduce drop-off rates by improving clarity, guidance, and overall user engagement during the onboarding journey.

We engaged the Qubstudio team to work on our brand strategy and update our branding and website. Within the brand strategy, their team made a profound discovery, including strategic sessions; the result was a decision to divide the Intego Group brand into sub-brands. Thus, they created new umbrella branding and website design for the parent brand and the brand extensions. After the central part was done, the team also provided graphic design support to us.

The team started with a brand update phase, during which they formed our new brand strategy, finalized three identity concepts, and then presented them to a director board. After the winning concept was approved, we moved to the creation of a brand book and website design.

At the beginning of our collaboration, we had only a vague idea of what we wanted and lacked clearly defined requirements. Qubstudio took full ownership of guiding us through the process — from clarifying our brand’s core to shaping it strategically.

Through a series of well-structured workshops, we defined our brand story, mission, vision, and key messaging. We also completely redesigned our logo, embedding clear meaning and structure into its form. The visual identity was transformed — our color palette was refined to reflect a more mature and meaningful tone, and the overall look of Kaizen Hub became coherent and value-driven, rather than abstract.

Key deliverables included a full brand book, templates for social media visuals, presentation decks, and title designs. These assets have given us consistency and clarity across all communication channels, elevating the way we present ourselves both internally and externally.

On the digital side, the updated website structure and information architecture ensure a more intuitive user experience. The creative direction, established through a visual mood board and design sessions, has led to a well-defined aesthetic. Additionally, multiple homepage concepts were explored, and the final direction was now approved, paving the way for the whole website rollout. Notably, website performance—such as load times—has improved by over 200% compared to the previous version.

Good recommendations and portfolio, the company has also been a part of the Lviv IT Cluster community for several years.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

In the first stage, the Qubstudio team analyzed competitors and built an Information Architecture. Based on the results of the design exercises, they generated design concepts, and after we chose the concept we liked the most, the team started working on the website design.

Though we had a brand book, Web Designers made a few changes in visual identity and refreshed the style. Delivery in the second stage included UI screens and mobile, tablet, and desktop versions of the website design. After everything was approved, the team prepared and transferred the files to the developers.

During the third project stage, they worked on landing pages. Since we plan to create landing pages ourselves in the future, Qubstudio's task was to provide a certain number of landing pages and generate universal variable blocks from which we can assemble full-fledged pages. In the 4th final stage, the team completed the website design of the remaining web pages, created variable blocks for the IT Cluster project pages, and provided the UI Kit.

The team deeply analyzed our website design and content, made a UX review, and build the Information Architecture. Our cooperation resulted in a complex website design including styles, animations, colors & gradients, and additional design elements.

The process of our cooperation was profound and efficient. Regularly, we communicated in strategic sessions and received all the tasks updates in Slack. Qubstudio team constantly collaborated with developers team to make the website as easy to administer as possible. While working on landing pages, Qubstudio Web Designers also communicated (on calls and via Slack) with other departments of the Lviv IT Cluster, for which the landing pages were made.

The project team was very productive and considerate. As to Project Management, everything was timely and effective. The design process was also smooth and efficient. With a highly proactive approach, the Product Designer took into account our requirements, suggested great concepts, and provided top-notch solutions. What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our users did not have to go through training, the process was so seamless, most of the users understood how to navigate the new design without much training.  That speaks volumes. The pace was perfect and often even faster than expected.  Right on budget and on time.  

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Our Project Manager, Bohdan, was the Best, Always available for questions and sticking to our projects budget and timeline.  His response time, level of detail and encouraging words made it enjoyable and fun to go to a meeting.  The whole team was easy to work with.

Their willingness to please, dedication, and ability to make things happen fast within our budget were extraordinary. I would say of the projects I've worked on, Qub Studio made this one easy.
