We posted the job to several job boards, and received over 500 responses. We shortlisted by the businesses that had a good portfolio and reviews online and eventually went with Spaceberry since their work was well aligned.

We met on Zoom and discussed the project and the motivations. Spaceberry brought their project managers to the meeting and we discussed scope, timeline and cost. Responses were quick and easy to manage. We agreed a priority and started to work through it. They would send me content to review weekly. However, in parallel I was able to see the work and ideas progressing in Figma which was great. I left comments and they replied. Very few changes were needed as the work was high quality. We agreed a second phase of the work and that has now been delivered. The final stage was for my to implement their designs into the product. Their work was set up in a way that made it easy for me to copy across styles, etc. We're about 98% of the way through implementation now and customer feedback has been super positive.

The client had conducted considerable research and had a business plan in place. Our team collected requirements and scoped out the project. We asked Spaceberry to step in when scoping was finalized and approved to start the design. In addition to the scope, our team put together a competitive analysis, target market analysis, and user persona research - all of which we feel Spaceberry did a great job of reviewing and analyzing.

For most of the project we worked directly with two people, a project manager and a designer.

Yes, the design work was delivered according to our timeline. The client is very happy with their work and attention to detail. We have commenced development on the project and the thorough level of designs Spaceberry provided, makes it easy for the developers to work with their design.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was great. For most of the project we provided feedback via Figma comments, but when larger deliverables or discussions were had we would have meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The level of talent and thought they put into the work. The design decisions they make are done for a reason, not just because. We trust them completely for our design and UI/UX needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly, I can't think of anything. They are very flexible, we worked with them on a few projects with different types of clients - some hands-on, some hands-off and they seem to work well with both. So I have nothing but praise to offer :)

The team tried to understand the idea with diligence even before they started billing me. Then they saw what past designers had done and asked what I liked, disliked about it. In a short time, they turned around a breathtaking modern design. They researched the best practices, dissuaded me from making the wrong design decisions, were always on time and created top notch work. They also followed a repeatable process of low fidelity designs, workflow etc. keeping us organized and within budget.

COO was ultimately accountable, and I worked with Art director, UI/UX designer and Project manager on a day-to-day basis.

Not only did they turn out exceptional quality, they were hungry for feedback and wanted to be the best. The pride in their work is palpable, and they want you to not be satisfied but excited about their work product. Our partners loved the design and wanted to move forward just after looking at the UX.

Very effective, They would gather requirements and suggest design direction, work in sprints, demo the work product, incorporate feedback. I did not need to spoon feed the design - I would share business needs and they would recommend a slew of options.

They have the best UX team, their process is repeatable and refined over many years to help deliver products on time and high quality and the pride they take in their work! The Spaceberry Team are always pushing beyond the status quo. They are hungry to be the best. It takes hard work to build a culture like that.

I hope they grow really fast so they can bring this to many customers at once.

Regular meetings with the team are held to discuss product improvements. The workload is organized using sprints, which are groups of tasks recruited from the backlog based on the tasks’ priorities. For example, we are able to launch a sprint to create a new page with new functionality or to improve user flow.

We take on a flexible approach with the team, adjusting to each task and its need as we go. The basic makeup of the team is a product manager, art director, UI/UX designer, technical team lead, two front-end developers, a backend developer, an analyst, an SEO specialist, and a project manager.

Although can’t discuss specific numbers, the growth rate of KPI metrics, new users, and regular users is exponential. We are positively mentioned in several articles and platforms including Reddit and Bitcoin.org. We also continually receive positive feedback regarding our services.

We use a two-week sprint system with an agile project management methodology, a strategic session (every three months), and urgent meetings (if necessary). We use Telegram/Zoom for communication and Jira/Bitbucket/Confluence for tasks/files/document organization.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

It is incredible how a small IT company can provide exceptional service and expertise. The greatest strength of Spaceberry Studio is its UI / UX design, project management, marketing, and software development. They are able to create outstanding products from a simple idea.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Like all clients, I would like for the product to be cheaper and completed sooner without a compromise in quality. Understandably, this is not possible, otherwise, it would have already been done. Development of the product, as well as the relationship with Spaceberry Studio, never ceases, which defines my positive attitude towards them.

Development of the visual concept and graphic materials. The team created high-quality designs and layouts for banners, posters, informational graphics, and invitations — all aligned with a cohesive brand style. Every visual asset was adapted for both print and digital use, which significantly simplified our communication efforts.
Design and development of a registration landing page. Spaceberry Studio fully crafted the page structure, visual design, and user experience elements, resulting in a clear, intuitive, and user-friendly interface. This helped us collect student registrations faster and more efficiently.

One of the key outcomes was a significant increase in student interest in the championship: thanks to the high-quality visual materials and the user-friendly landing page, we received more registrations. The visual appeal and recognition of the event also improved noticeably - the designed banners, promotional materials, and certificates created a professional look for all event photos and publications, which helped expand our reach across university and student community social media. In addition, we received positive feedback from participants and partners regarding the visual presentation of the championship, confirming the success of the delivered solutions.
