As part of the project "Web-based App and Emergency Counseling for Refugees from Ukraine" a webbased application for refugees from Ukraine was developed, within the framework of which a psychoeducational program about stress, emotional experiences after flight, haunting memories, sleeping problems, and coping strategies was developed. SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

For us, it was important to find a company that could develop videos in a culturally sensitive way, so that people fled from Ukraine to Germany who watch these videos would feel emotional closeness to the characters in the videos. We conducted a research on the internet looking for companies either based in Ukraine or having branches there. We contacted around 30 companies to take a closer look at their services and projects.

Out of 30 companies we chose three companies that we liked best. All three of them were told the budget of the project and they were asked to create a short example video. The video made by VIDEO-STYLE was by far the best video we got: It was indescribably beautifully drawn, very emotional and of the highest quality.

We started with a Kick-Off meeting discussing the goals of the projects and creating a working plan. Dmytro helped us to understand our product before starting to create scripts. We divided the project according to our needs into two stages: Creation of the first three videos and then creation of the last six videos. We received the following outcomes for approval:

We worked with a project manager who kept us un schedule and brought in his creative ideas. After each milestone, we would give him feedback, and he would communicate it to the animators. Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The created videos were first shown to colleagues working in the same clinic and in the IT department. They were all impressed on how beautifully and realistically the graphics were drawn. Then we have shown the videos to around 15 people fled from Ukraine. They were also convinced by the great quality.

The project manager was easy to communicate with and he provided updates on a regular basis. If they needed to change something, we were consulted first. We communicated via MS Teams, e-mail and Telegram.
