Alpha IR was founded in early 2012 and quickly became one of the country’s premiere independent IR and transaction consultancies. In early 2023, the team expanded its capabilities through the addition of Alpha Advisory, which brought a deep corporate reputation and issues management team. 

Collectively, the Alpha Companies bring a synergistic offering, grounded in strategy and research, with a clear focus on service. All of our leaders have big agency experience but chose Alpha as they wanted to focus more on delivering value rather than maximizing fees.

TechVoo has helped with all our IT needs. They provided an updated internet program and update it regularly, manage all our onboarding and setup with new equipment for new employees, manage updating our computer software and equipment, setup a two-factor authentication for security purposes, and helped setup our research computers. They do it all!

They provide ongoing support for us and do an excellent job.

They are always very quick to respond, even outside of normal business hours, and are quick to alleviate any issues we may have.

Our computers, both onsite and remotely, networks, and anything else related to our IT needs are running smoothly and effortless with TechVoo as our vendor.

TechVoo does what they say they will do to meet our deadlines and timetables. Easy to reach at anytime and responds quickly and efficiently. TechVoo has no problem coming to our office to complete a task or for a meeting. Very easy to deal with and makes our lives so much easier. They are our IT experts; we have the utmost confidence in them.

Both companies have the same work ethics and really care about their customers and their needs. Not every vendor operates in this fashion. TechVoo is always trying to make us a better company not only in the IT department but better as a whole company.

At this time, TechVoo has been our partner and we're very happy with them.

I recommend TechVoo as a reliable provider of comprehensive IT support services. We have been utilizing their expertise since 2008, initially for server and vendor software solutions. Over the years, we have entrusted TechVoo with our hardware procurement needs, including computers, networking equipment, servers, and more, while relying on their ongoing support. 

One notable enhancement they suggested and implemented was the establishment of a private fiber link, seamlessly connecting our office locations. This upgrade has significantly improved the speed and efficiency of our software usage across offices, enabling our staff to accomplish their tasks promptly and efficiently.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our computers and networks stay up and running, and in all these years we have only had one outage that was rectified quickly using backups. We save money from a staff and licensing standpoint now, based on the suggestions TechVoo has made and systems they have implemented for us. 

Their support is very responsive, and my staff never has complaints about getting issues addressed. Their "do it right the first time" mindset is great. They explain the cost for the one-time project and on-going piece, so I can make clear business decisions, understanding the risks involved.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Projects are added to the "IT Roadmap" when we meet. Usually the first step is understanding what we need and why they are recommending it. Sometimes it's actually removing a system or process to simplify things, which is great.

On the projects we have executed with them (new servers a few times, network switches, several firewall deployments, wiring infrastructure, Cloud migration, etc.), the projects have all been billed as quoted. If there was a delay, it was related to Comcast or our EMR vendor, not TechVoo. The staff is stellar and never disappoints. I think their mission is focused on client experience, which you can tell.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The level of communication and process is something I had never experienced in another IT vendor. They promise "no surprises" in their service and billing. We know what is going to happen and when. If emergencies come up, there is a plan, and it's never a fire drill.

Are there any areas for improvement or something TechVoo could have done differently?

They deliver an excellent value. Other vendors had lower pricing, so I asked about it, and they provided some price reduction based on our long relationship, but the owner explained how they come up with their rates, and it made sense. 

Our invoice with them covers licensing for email, web, domains, firewall, antivirus, phishing protection, etc. - so overall it's probably not much more if we paid those directly with another IT vendor. I'm glad we found them, and I cannot foresee making a change to another vendor for IT.

Techvoo has been our IT Services provider since 2015. They assisted with server, network and workstation hardware replacements every 3 years and provided security and support.

We are a 24-7 security guard operation. Our network and workstations need to have 99.999% uptime. Techvoo achieved that goal for us consistently since they began working with us.

Techvoo has been very responsive to all of our needs. They lay things out for us in an organized manner and don't let things fall through the cracks. If we were taking too long to get back to them, then they would follow up with us.
