This was critical because technical requirements can easily be lost in translation when there is only a single middleman. ESP Inspire prevented that issue by keeping the lines of communication open.

They provide a project manager, so on-time delivery has been great thus far. The project manager is in contact with our PMO (project management office). She submits reports to them. They track in Jira, as well as using another program for communication. She is working loosely with our PMO, following some of our guidelines for reporting and project management best practices.

We had a weekly update on the progress of the tasks, including the estimated amount of time for each one, and any potential issues or risks. If we ever came across high-priority bugs or had urgent requests from our leadership, we could easily contact Mangrove through our shared Slack channel, and they always promptly responded. It was particularly helpful that they offered nearly all-day development coverage, given that the Mangrove team is remote.
