Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The founder of the app for the children's book has finally achieved her long-term goal of getting downloads for her app with no external marketing costs! She's getting regular downloads and subsequent profit-generating In-App Purchases, without spending huge amounts of cash on Facebook and Instagram ads. The process is ongoing but the download rates have been incredible. The Dental app is still yet to be released but we are optimistic of just as great results!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

REALLY effective! Carissa knows what she's doing. She's organised and has the right processes in place to ensure everything goes as smooth as possible. Sticks to deadlines and promises - that is RARE to find. Trust me.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I found the most impressive part was dealing with Carissa directly. She doesn't just give work to someone else to do. She's actively involved herself, and she's so great to work with. The team is so knowledgeable and I couldn't be more grateful to them.

Our average product page visits and app downloads increased noticeably after I implemented Apptuitive's recommendations.

The workflow was excellent. Communication was also excellent. As a first-time app developer I had a lot of questions, some in scope and others out of scope, and Carissa gave clear and detailed explanations and helped me understand the app store ecosystem better.

She provided backup data for all of the recommendations, which was very helpful. She also took the time to understand my brand and business which made the recommendations even more effective.

The project and communications were great, no qualms. Revision work and back-and-forth was minimal.

Product knowledge. Our app can be difficult to understand for most, but the team undertook a lot of research and testing before even saying yes to working with us. Also, I was shocked at the value we received. Other agencies quoted 3x for what Apptuitive did for us.

Apptuitive has been amazing and vital to helping our app compete against some of the largest companies in the App Store. Within a few months of our app launch, Apple selected us as a candidate to be featured as App of the Day.

This is one of the greatest compliments any app can receive from Apple. Since then, we have been recognized as one of "The 12 Best Workout Apps to Download Right Now" by Harper's BAZAAR.

Carissa is easy to communicate with and provides us frequent updates. I've always been impressed by the timeliness and quality of work.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was blown away by the knowledge they had about the fitness industry and our market. Not only has she helped me with digital marketing, but she has also helped me in ways that extend above and beyond what I initially hired her to do.

She always makes herself available to answer questions and genuinely cares about your success. I believe this is a unique quality and something that has always meant a lot to me.

We’re still in the process of preparing for our official launch, but although the work isn’t implemented in the App Store, I have absolutely no doubt we’ll immediately start showing up for our target list of keywords. Very. We were very hands-off. All we needed was the initial call to discuss the app and our goals in-depth and the work was completed within 4 days or so.

The delivered keyword research document, comprehensive PDF of suggestions, and delivered visual assets turned out better than I could have ever expected.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was seamless. The team understood what exactly needed to be done and what they needed from us. We only needed a quick Skype call to touch base and they were able to handle the rest through a few follow up emails and check-ins.

The communications/revisions for designs were also very seamless. The team does a great job in keeping communication open and picking out small things that we didn’t know we needed.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their honesty and willingness to be flexible on budget and timeline set them apart. I needed the ASO work done last minute due to unforeseen changes in the development timeline and the company accommodated everything I needed and then some. I don’t think I’ll ever come across a team that was as willing to burn the midnight oil on a project that wasn’t theirs. Very nice and considerate experience.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Personally, I don’t think so. I would love for them to offer advertising services, but other than that I wouldn’t change anything about their process.

The app immediately started ranking for some top keywords, and has been rising in ranking over the past few months. This has resulted in a lot more downloads and purchases than it would have had, had we not hired Apptuitive to work on the keywords.

We corresponded mainly via email. Apptuitive was quick to respond and very friendly. The document we received containing the keywords was formatted very well and was simple to understand. We were very satisfied with the whole process!
