I was ready to take my online store to the next level, which required updating and implementing marketing strategies. I also needed to update my SEO for images on my website and make sure that it was up to the industry standards. However, I didn’t have the tools or the time to educate myself on that, so I hired eCommerce Today.

What was the scope of their involvement?

eCommerce Today has helped me implement the marketing strategies I needed to improve my store. Their services have included SEO, email marketing, and Google, Facebook, and Instagram advertising.

As for SEO, eCommerce Today initially did a very in-depth background check for keywords related to my industry, which included competitor research. Then, they reformatted my site to change its layout and how it loads. They’ve also educated me on it and reformatted a lot of my photos to make them SEO friendly. Probably, our next step will be implementing a blog to create SEO content.

eCommerce Today’s work has been fantastic; they’ve elevated my entire website. Now, it looks much more professional and loads faster. Additionally, my industry is a very niche industry; I’m not selling products that people need all the time. Therefore, I was really impressed with the background check they did on mine and other artists’ sites.

eCommerce Today has delivered work on time and even before deadlines. We communicate via email and Shopify’s platform, where they keep me updated about the project’s progress.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It is impressive how patient and reassuring eCommerce Today has been. This is all new to me, so granting someone access to my website, Facebook, and Google Analytics wasn’t easy because those platforms contain my personal information. Initially, I was really hesitant and worried about that, but they were very patient, kind, and willing to communicate face to face with me to discuss my concerns. They’ve made me feel like family, which I really appreciate.

During the development process, eCommerce Today had to import manuals and other pieces of content from my old Magento site, which made it much more complicated than just starting from nothing. They also were in charge of solving many issues related to pricing, inventory, and more.

Every step, of this wonderful collaboration, if I needed, I received all the information that I needed to understand all the aspects involved. Now, it is very easy for me to work on the website, adding products or blog articles, etc. The web's speed and the number of visitors increased considerable. Many persons that saw my new website admired it and and liked how easy was to access the categories, products, etc.

The communication was excellent. As I explained above, they sent us screenshots, exchanged emails for every clarification or new information, explanation. Google meeting was another way that we used for communication. The phone was available anytime I/them needed. Everything was done, very well, in a short time.

Working with eCommerce-Today was over the expectations, form all points of view: Communication, Professionalism, Knowledge, Work Value, Respect of the Time Frame of the project. Unique - The quality of their work and their desire, to be sure, that I will manage/understand all the changes, materialized in a virtual meeting. Beside all of these, the price was fair, especially that they did more that was necessary and more than other companies did before them.

I selected them through Shopify Experts. The deciding factor was the follow up from Stefan after I had decided to take a step back and not have anything done. He emailed me and very kindly explained all that they could do for me and gave me the cost. he was very professional, not pushy and kind.

There were emails back and forth during both projects from start to finish. Prior to the finish of both projects, they had me review the end results. At the end of the Storefront project, both Stefan & Andreea set up a video call to take me through the new design with explanations on each feature. They were quick with both projects and did a fantastic job.

The site is much more user friendly and the design is more modernized and up to date. The email marketing set up will help to entice the customers to purchase. It is too soon to give feedback on anything more as I am still in the process of adding products to my storefront. I do have Andreea helping me at this time with the setting up of my Social Media Accounts

Both Stefan and Andreea communicated with me from start to finish. They were ahead of schedule on both projects and each project was completed in a timely manner. Any questions I may have or have are always answered promptly with thorough explanations,

I can not say there is just one thing that impressed me about this company. I was impressed with the quick back and forth communication from both Stefan & Andreea, the ample explanations on ongoing, their web design skills, the email marketing platform and the quick turnaround time for each project. Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They delivered all email flows within the agreed period of time. The team took the time to explain what they had created and also allowed us to provide feedback which was actioned very quickly and effectively.

We communicated via email and the communication was seamless despite it being the first project for both teams.

Their breadth of services and time in response stood out in the partnership. They were clear in setting out the proposal and very competitive in pricing.

From our end it is probably the copy writing style. However, I would add that we could have provided more material to clarify the style further.

I selected eCommerce because Stefan was so efficient and the report he produced helped me see what was wrong with my site. He also gave me a deadline to have all the issues fixed and literally it was fixed in a matter of 40 hours.

Since my store has been upgraded with various apps and a new look, it works perfect for me and my customers, I get so many compliments from people, my sales are increasing each month and this is the one thing Stefan told me on the first call.

We have weekly updates by email and every 2 weeks we have a video call to go through any new changes that need to be made.

The keywords we’re targeting are maple syrup and maple. Our ranking for maple has increased from 53 to 35, or 18 spots higher than before. Maple syrup is up by two spots, while maple syrup Canada is up by 53 spots. 

Overall, eCommerce Today has met my expectations, and I’m truly satisfied with their work. The team has been truly forthcoming and transparent in terms of what they can do for us. They’ve successfully improved our SEO and fixed bugs on our website. They’ve also upgraded our themes in a relatively short amount of time for a limited amount of money.
