We commissioned Here, Now film to direct, film and edit a short film on behalf of Somerset Local Nature Partnership to promote nature-based approaches to health and social care. We bought together key stakeholder and partner organisations to interview and film. The film was well received across the board and is now live on youtube. It was featured by the Guardian newspaper as part of their articles about green social prescribing and was successful in leveraging significant 3 year funding to hire through Somerset Wildilfe Trust to deliver a nature-wellbeing pilot project 2024-2027.

Over 2k views on YouTube and over 8k through Guardian newspaper tweet. 

5 film screening events in Somerset bringing together over 200 people, organisations, statutory bodies and not-for-profits to collaborate, network and build partnerships

They were generous with their charitable rate for the project that made it affordable for a not-for-profit/ statutory social care organisation. Communication was regular, clear and effective. The team were extremely professional and personable/approachable on shoots and throughout editing process. They responded excellently to our needs. I was thrilled with the process and product, and cannot recommend Here Now Films highly enough

The primary aim of creating this film with Here Now FIlms was to capture the innovative trial of using drones to seed unaccessible areas in Cornwall. We didn't know how this trial was going to unfold, and if there would be any issues along the way, so Here Now were great in reacting to the live situation and adapting to the changes we had to make on the day. The secondary aim was to showcase how the Woodland Trust is leading this research, and what impactful steps need to be taken to reach the ambitious goal of working with the South West Rainforest Alliance.

Here Now were great in delivering our aims and the film surpassed our expectations. They were easy to work with and flexed with us when unexpected things happened with the project. They listened to our ideas and contributed their own to make sure we reached the full potential of the project. Here Now gave us casting options and organised the actors/models prior to the shoot day. We were impressed with their enthusiasm and work ethic to ensure everything went smoothly during the project. They produced and edited a brilliant high-quality short film with versions for website, YouTube and social media.

We wanted to create a video that represnteted the 100 year history of J A Brooks that would be relatable to peers in the industry, relatable to our staff and retirees and also have a factor that would attract new talent by expressing our values. Herenow worked with us on creative workshops and then filmed around multiple loctaions with some difficult accesiblity in places.

This is a difficult one to measure as it was aimed more as a brand video internally than it was for any marketing use. But I can say for a fact that it was a success, the atmosphere at our 100 year party was electric after showing the film on the big screen and that was the main goal.

Here Now were flexible with our moing deadlines, they adapted to situations out of our control and were fully on board with the most specific of requests, whether that was suggetsing new ideas or re-shooting content numerous ideas until we were happy with the smallest and most specifc details.

The understanding Ed and his team bring, when you are trying to hit some really specific areas and niche points it can be hard for someone to understand if they're not familiar with your industry or niche. The Here Now Team listened until they understood each component completely and then managed to provide some really impressive ideas that were completely aligned.

There are no obvious improvments here now could make to have improved our experience.

We needed to film a proposal for a major new visitor destination project, capturing a complex concept in an attractive, energetic, and accessible way.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Here Now Films did an end-to-end job. They nailed the brief, wrote the storyboards, found the set, crafted the critical issues, helped with the script, filmed the video, and edited the footage. The team provided us with drafts and then finalized the film to go on our website. We received a main promotional film with supplemental footage that can be edited into shorter films for social media.
