Here Now Films was engaged as the lead video production partner to craft a high-quality brand story film that authentically captures who we are as a company, our values, and what makes our products special. Their work covered the full creative and technical production cycle from concept through to final delivery, including the following key components:

1. Creative Development & Pre-Production
Here Now Films led initial creative discussions to understand our brand purpose, heritage and strategic messaging goals, shaping a tailored narrative approach that aligned with our identity as a sustainably-made, purpose-led business. They translated this into a structured creative brief and shoot plan that set out the visual language, interview subjects, location plan (at our Cornwall HQ and other sites), and key story arcs to be captured.

2. Scripting & Storyboarding
The team drafted and refined the film’s narrative outline to ensure clarity of messaging and emotional impact. This included shaping interview questions, identifying meaningful B-Corp/heritage/ecosystem themes, and planning footage sequences that showcase our products, people, and production process in a cohesive brand documentary style.

3. On-Site Filming & Production
Here Now Films provided a professional on-site crew for principal photography, capturing a mix of cinematic b-roll, product and environment shots, interview footage with key team members, and contextual scenes that demonstrate the craft, sustainability and personality of our company Their approach balanced documentary authenticity with polished visual storytelling.

4. Post-Production & Editing
In post-production, the team edited the footage into a cohesive brand film that tells our story with clarity, rhythm, and emotional resonance. They handled colour grading, sound design, pacing, and graphics where appropriate, delivering a final film that works as both a long-form brand narrative and in shorter cut versions. 

5. Final Deliverables
Here Now Films delivered a set of finished outputs including:

Primary brand film suitable for website and brand channels (the version published to YouTube and embedded on our site). YouTube
Supporting formats/edits tailored for social media and campaign use (e.g., shorter clips with key highlights for Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook).

What challenge were you trying to address with Here Now Films?

We needed to create a client testimonial video to showcase the work we’d been doing over the past 18 months. The video would tell the story of the problem our client was seeking to solve when working with us, how we fixed it, and their experience working with us. The goal was to establish trust and credibility for anyone looking to learn more about AimHi Earth and the sustainability training we provide for complex organisations. We wanted the video to be slick, professional, and have a relatively swift turnaround.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Here Now Films developed, managed, and delivered all aspects of the customer’s upcoming testimonial video production. The film was a fast-paced, engaging testimonial about the ongoing partnership between AimHi Earth and their enterprise client. It included key interviews with the main stakeholders from the client's team. The film also showed animated stats and workflows from AimHi Earth’s process. Details were outlined and developed in a pre-agreed script signed off by AimHi Earth and their client. During preproduction, Here Now Films worked closely with AimHi Earth on creative direction. They planned the interviews, the storyboard, the shot list, and other aspects. During production, the team conducted in-person interviews with the stakeholders. They put them at ease, handled lighting, and filmed everything. They also interviewed stakeholders who couldn’t be around in person via Zoom. In postproduction, Here Now Films handled editing, animation, colour grading, and sound design.

We received great positive feedback. The video was shared widely on social media, not just by our team but also by the client’s organisation and stakeholders. We also used it as the foundation of an outreach campaign for new business and to support fundraising activities. We also noticed an increase in leads.

The film was to be shared at the time of the G7 summit which was held in Cornwall to showcase both the natural environment of the area and also to promote the enabling role of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Nature Partnership.

We needed Here Now Films to create a beautiful TV advertisement that enraptured who Whistlefish is and the true beauty of the stories behind greeting cards.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Here Now Films created a 30-second TV ad shot exactly how we pitched it. This included clear project planning, storyboards of each shot, and budget management. After we received this deliverable, they created 35 variations of the ad for social ads.Here Now Films handled everything from the first meeting. They filmed everything, including scouting for models and onboarding, and edited everything. They went externally for their color grading but communicated all the feedback we had from that step. They animated everything in-house and then, when the film was complete, they even sent it to the advertising body and placed it through Clearcast for us. We didn’t have to lift a finger other than provide feedback.

We saw an increase in traffic and area spikes. We also got an incredible amount of verbal feedback saying how much they loved the ad. Some elements are still in testing, but we’ve seen a slight increase in all areas.

To travel to Portugal over land and spend a full week on the Serra da Estrela working closely with C Level to film the land and lanscape of the Bioestrela Regeneration Project.  To evolve the story during the week and filming uncovered new opportunities for the stories evolution, driven by the identification of key subjects for interview in the film as well as landscape features and regeneration opportunties.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

the original Bioestrela film captured the powerful vision of the Bioestrela Project.  It gave us exactly what we needed - an inspiring new short film to go to potential backers with.  Not least, the film was entered into the international eco film festival CINEECO and in October 2024 won the award for best landscape film in the festival.  In short, Here Now Films met all of our intentions in workin with them to co create Bioestrela.

They were exceptionally responsive, massively energetic, enthusiastic, and pretty well-organized. I have worked with all the founders of this company and they are not just skilled in filmmaking but highly informed and engaged in the ecological and cultural issues of our time - which makes working closely with them a lot easier

Incredibly positive feedback from partner organisations, the team and initial public showings. We will launch the film more widely in 2026 and anticipate reaching new landowners, funders, local and national audiences to engage with our work. Initial feedback included:

'The film is great, really inspiring and it explains everything that is happening without being too scientific – thank you for sharing it.'

The project required Here Now to be flexible to filming in outdoor, remote locations in challenging terrain, fitting around the team's schedule and weather conditions. They did this with ease and confidence, capturing the work on the ground and being responsive to events and active restoration taking place on site. They were accomodating and supportive of incorporating feedback and staff engagement in draft versions of the film.

Alongside the main films, Here Now delivered a comprehensive collection of social edits in multiple formats, including subtitled and clean versions, and versions with tailored CTAs, giving us everything needed for ongoing campaigns across platforms.

Assets produced by Here Now consistently delivered the highest click-through rates of any creative we’ve used, and drove noticeably higher engagement across our social channels. We also received widespread positive feedback from team, families and partners about the films’ production quality and storytelling. 
Here Now’s work has made a meaningful difference to how our brand is experienced. They’ve helped us communicate not just what we do, but how it feels to be part of KYN - for our residents, families and the team.

I was not the manager of this project but the overall delivery of the crowdfund was on time. The edits were taken positively and reworked in a quick timeframe. The team was kind and quick to work to a deadline.
