I am the Co-Founder of Mera Group Digital Marketing. Mera Group is a digital marketing agency based in Los Angeles that focuses on Paid Media, Lifecycle Marketing, and SEO Services.

For what projects/services did your company hire Uplers?

We hired Uplers to help us build an entirely new website that needed to be user-friendly with a modern and sleek design. We also wanted to make sure it was responsive and flexible enough to be viewed regardless of the user's device.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to the website to be built using WordPress with integrations with HubSpot, GravityForms, have a robust Blog and Case Study section. In addition, we wanted to make sure the website felt and looked professional with a custom-built theme.

How did you select this vendor?

We have worked with Uplers many times in the past across a variety of use cases. We have always been happy with their work and commitment to making sure everything met or exceeded our expectations.

The overall process was fairly seamless. There was an opportunity to submit a questionnaire that requested high-level input around our brand, our existing logos, color schemes...etc. We were also expected to provide content that would live within the site and within specific pages as it typical of any website build. They also requested references to sites and/or any other examples we have seen and like to use as the inspiration for the vision we had. Once I had completed their questionnaire they were off and running with creating initial comps of specific pages so that we can get a sense of where the direction was heading. There were rounds of creative revisions and ultimately bug-squashing prior to migrating the site over to my WordPress hosting. Once the site was migrated over they were flexible with me making some additional changes based on business challenges we faced. That was very appreciative and good quality of their commitment to making sure we were happy.

Their team consisted of a project manager, creative director, and designers. We were also able to request copywriters but didn't need them in this case.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our site is in the final stages from going live (held up by us as we finish some final copywriting) but just looking at what is current in our dev environment we are very excited to see this launch and start gathering data.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

They were very communicative and provided timely responses back to any questions we had. We never felt that we were misunderstood and if there ever were any items that were unclear they would make sure they had the proper understanding before committing to anything.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their quality, speed, and dedication to customer service.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Having resources working in my time-zone would be the only area of improvement that I would suggest.

We started hiring Uplers because we needed professional email templates and landing pages that work with Salesforce and Pardot, our new Marketing Automation system.

What were your goals for this project?

There were 2 types of emails we wanted: One complex layout where we could choose between different content blocks and one used for autoresponders. They have to work with Pardot. As for landing pages we asked for a landing page where our customers could download informative content, but also pull them down further into the funnel (product blocks, testimonial blocks,...)

We started our proces online as e-mail and landingpages dedicated for Pardot is very specific. We stumbled upon an advertisement of Uplers and saw their portfolio and cases.

They designed and developed our emails and landing pages. Starting from a simple design to complex designs to development into HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

What was the team composition?

It was myself and then one project manager who lead their design and development team (i don't know how many people worked on our emails or pages).

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We still need to test more as we are still in the early fase of Pardot adoption. We saw a higher clickthrough though for some emails. Landing pages still need to go live.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was very well done. They were always on time and listened to us. Quick responses and straight to the point. They used tools such as InVision and Bugherd were we could easily give feedback to our templates and layouts. Their language knowledge was quite high and was no barrier at all.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They had quick response times to questions and feedback rounds. Great after sales support and help.

From my side none.

My primary goal in using Uplers is to get excellent work done quickly. Although we have a large marketing department and creative resources, it can be difficult to get work prioritized on short notice. With Uplers, I can have a job started quicker than I can write an internal creative brief.

I 'found' Email Monks (Uplers) in 2017 and because they have always been great to work with, I continued to call on them when I moved to a new company. I continue to choose Uplers because they do excellent work quickly. Also, their people have always been great to work with so I enjoy working with their team as well.

I have a primary contact on the business side and can contact him with questions about new work. Once a project kicks off, there is a project manager who manages the ongoing project interaction. As such, I've never had direct contact with designers or front end developers. The team structure is efficient and effective and everyone is very responsive.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

All of the projects Uplers have completed have been a success in that they are in production. I am very excited about our most recent Word Press website that Uplers created, as it's going to be a major milestone for the university - a project that has been years in the making.

Great. There have never been any issues related to workflow, project management, or delivery. Uplers typically delivers before project deadlines.

We hired EmailMonks to carry out an email marketing campaign. Future brides would sign up on our website to receive automated reminders to visit the site closer to their wedding date.

We know that many of our daily site visitors will not be getting married for months or even years to come. We wanted to remind brides about our website, our products, and our services closer to their wedding date.

Initially, we narrowed the list down to five finalists. We were looking for specific requirements including responsiveness, efficient scheduling, cost, and feedback from previous clients. We also wanted a company that solely focused on email marketing. EmailMonks stood out because they fulfilled the categories we were looking for. After several conversations with the team, we knew we had found the right service provider.

First, EmailMonks added a Poptin tool with our website, prompting visitors to supply their name, email address, and wedding date if they would like reminders to visit the site again. Then, the team integrated our Poptin tool with Mailchimp, and created three email templates to be triggered by the approaching wedding date. Before each step, EmailMonks evaluated the optimal technology to accomplish our goals.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We’re entering peak wedding season, and the thousands of contacts we've generated are starting to receive their email reminders. So far, our average email open rate is 27.1% and our average click rate is 4.7%. With the help of EmailMonks and analytics, we will monitor our conversion success in the months to come.

We thoroughly enjoy working with EmailMonks. They are mindful about our best interests, budget, and timeline. They meet the deadlines they’ve outlined, and they offer cost-savings recommendations when they see opportunities.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It has been four months, and we’ve seen some positive results in our analytics and tracking platforms. Since we are dealing only with SEO, however, performance boosts take 6-12 months to truly show.

Communication is easy thanks to our single point of contact. We mostly interact through email, and any further clarifications are done via Skype. WebbyMonks is quick to fix issues on their end.

I'm usually skeptical about offshoring content creation, but I’ve been impressed by their team and the content they've produced to date.
