Migrate our Drupal CMS to Wordpress CMS

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were referred to ACAP by word of mouth. After a couple of consultation sessions with their Solutions Architect, we decidede to award the project to ACAP.

We had to either upgrade our CMS version or migrate to a more customizable CMS. We opted for the latter.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

It was a full team but we mostly interacted with our point of contact/Project Manager

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was successfully delivered. We still turn to them for maintenance needs.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had no issues in that department.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They're subject matter experts, there was no technical challenge they couldn’t overcome.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Delivery speed can be improved

We are a transportation logistics company and I am the marketing manager.

For what projects/services did your company hire ACAP, and what were your goals?

We have a very complex WordPress solution with a lot of customizations and integrations done over the years. We needed a new Vendor to successfully manage our site, upgrade, change and optimize.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked at 5 vendors that all looked capable however ACAP had the best credentials for us due to complexity of our current solution.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Project consisted of first doing an upgrade analysis to bring our site up to date with the software tools we are using. After the initial upgrade, we moved onto the needed changes and fixes to support our operations.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

ACAP provided us with a Solution Architect, a Project Manager, Multiple Senior Developers, a Designer and testing staff.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The projects were completed near the scheduled dates and we were able to move onto handling the programming changes required by our management team.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

ACAP was very efficient and responsive, we will be doing more projects with them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are extremely responsive and can handle any type of wordpress and website technical challenges

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

From our perspective the projects are implemented and managed very accurately, their verification process also worked great to make sure we have as little problems as possible after going live.

We selected ACAP due to their healthcare and HIPAA experience

Their communication is top notch and they are very responsive.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked directly with our Solution Architect. In addition there was a project manager and a developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We received everything we were promised and then some. We have plans for the next set of revisions in place already.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their communication is top notch and they are very responsive.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their responsiveness and willingness to listen our changing requirements and excellent advice on performance and usability.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Sometimes when we worked with the Solution Architect, their accent could be a little hard to understand but they have native English speaking staff that jumps in to help.
