I work in the marketing department of the top IT product retailer in Saudi Arabia.

What challenge were you trying to address with ALMONTAGE?

We’ve worked with them on promotional and concept videos.

What was the scope of their involvement?

ALMONTAGE has worked with us on different videos and livestreaming productions. We’ve recently done a promotional video in collaboration with Microsoft and Intel, who have sponsored us. Our store specializes in gaming and office desktop and laptop PCs. We produced a video showing different brands of laptops with Intel eight-generation processors and Microsoft licenses.

They produced a video for a Microsoft laptop campaign. It was aimed at customers with older-generation laptops, and it showed them how the performance of their old machines compares to the new generation. It focused on both gaming and office performance.

We’ve worked with them on live events such as gaming festivals and back-to-school campaigns. The events featured several brands, and ALMONTAGE was asked to produce live video streams for them. They edited the footage into two-minute videos and promoted those on social media. The videos can be seen on our website as well as on our YouTube channel. ALMONTAGE has produced all the videos on our channel.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with around eight people from their team. I’ve mainly been in contact with Syed (Sales Account Manager, ALMONTAGE Entertainment) and with a video production manager.

How did you come to work with ALMONTAGE?

Microsoft referred them to us. I tried them out on some small projects, and I liked their creativity in terms of new concepts and content. I continued giving them more and more projects after that. We tried working with another company last year when ALMONTAGE was busy on another project. We felt bad for doing this, so we eventually gave that footage to ALMONTAGE for them to edit.

How much have you invested with them?

We’re spending around $30,000 per project, and we typically have four projects per year with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in late 2014 and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We feel comfortable working with them, which is why we’re continuing the collaboration. We’ve tried working with other agencies, but we haven’t been satisfied with any except ALMONTAGE.

How did ALMONTAGE perform from a project management standpoint?

Before starting a project, we will give them a list of objectives, and they will work on a script. If we want to make a change, we can simply tell them about it, and they will come up with 2–3 alternatives for us to choose from.

We typically set short deadlines, but they’ve worked day and night to meet them, even though they have a small team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s their flexibility in adapting to the changes we request. The approval process in our company spans several departments, from marketing to e-commerce. As such, we’ve asked for multiple corrections on some videos, but they’ve always managed to satisfy us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They have a lack of staffing, so they’re unable to handle every project. If they had more staff, they could work more freely and have more creativity.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Clients looking to work with ALMONTAGE need to clearly specify the project objectives, outlining exactly what they need. If this is done, they will deliver the best results.

After we discussed the proposal and the budget, they contacted with me to discuss about our products, the ideas and goals of the video, we got many ideas from Almontage’s team, finally we selected one. A couple of days they was starting the video production.

The video was great and we got an awesome feedback from everyone who watched the video. But , because of Coronavirus we couldn’t make a huge campaign for Mother’s Day as we wanted :(

We hired AlMontage Entertainment to create 2 customer reference videos for us for our client. Our client a large US based multinational with USD 1 Billion + revenues hired us as their ongoing agency to create customer reference videos with 2 of their key customers in Saudi Arabia.

What were your goals for this project?

Client intended to use the website on their company website, on social media channels and at relevant conferences.

How did you select this vendor?

We have worked with Almontage before so because we were satisfied with their earlier work we thought it is best we work with them for these 2 video requirements. They were originally referred to us by the Saudi Arabia Country Manager of a key client but now we work with them for other client requirements also.

The video is a customer reference video. Basically, my client's customer is being interviewed to review their feedback about my client's products. We assigned this to Al Montage. They gathered some requirements from us. They send their team to video shoot the end customer. Out of the entire footage they created a highlights video.
