Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm a Product Manager at VoirStudio which works on developing Defi based products. We needed BlockApex services to conduct the extensive audits of the smart contracts to make it sure that the protocol is exploit proof.

For what projects/services did your company hire BlockApex?

Currently we are working on Unipilot, a universal liquidity optimizer protocol. It is a defi based product which means it'll be handling the people's money in the form of cryptocurrency. To make sure that the protocol was exploit proof and ensure that the assets of people remain intact, we need BlockApex services to audit and find any prior issues before we launch it on Ethereum Blockchain.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We went through the extensive search of quality auditors in the market and we came across BlockApex through the previous contributions of its team in the blockchain space. We contacted them and explained to them what we were searching for and we realized that they had the required capabilities to perform security operations on the protocol.

Unipilot is an automated concentrated liquidity optimizer which runs on top of Uniswap V3. It insures that the LP's assets earn maximum yield without any hassle.

We had three smart contract auditors assigned to Unipilot.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The overall experience of their services for Unipilot has been exceptional. They went ahead of their way in helping us identify the shortcomings of the protocol and ensured that the previous version was fully secured before it went on production.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very smooth, they were very responsive and extremely resilient in accepting the to and fro feedback from the development team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their broad spectrum of knowledge in the DeFi space impressed me the most, combined with optimal understanding of programming and mathematics.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They should expend their team so that they can distribute the tasks and be more agile with the processes.

Block apex perfomred the inital smar contract audit of multiple Near smart contracts that comprise the Jump DeFi platform. Later Block apex worked on the Jump aggregator, AMM, Yeild Farm and Liquidity pools.

They deliver Items relativley well. Some issues resulted in delays, though this is somewhat common in software development.

The team had a great understanding of web3 technology and development methods.

Slightly better communication between the different blockapex internal teams could be better.

We worked with BlockApex to perform an audit of smart-contracts in our novel optimistic rollup solution. This included the broader security requirements of a rollup system and our integration with Celestia's BlobstreamX data availability solution.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

BlockApex was able to provide feedback for improvements, and complete the audits on a very tight schedule, allowing us to move fast while maintaining safety. The team showed very high competence, found some curcial issues and were always able to help and suggest fixes.

All items were delievered on time. They were very flexible, providing early feedback and details while the audit was still ongiong, which allows us to get a head start on the fixes. The team is very accomodating, even when we scheduled last minute meetings out-of-office hours.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team deeply understood the unique security standards of the roll-up system we were trying to build. We've always had superb communication with BlockApex.

Are there any areas for improvement or something BlockApex could have done differently?

It would have been great if they would join our Slack channel, which is our agencies primary system of communication, rather than requiring telegram (which I rarely use, and had to reinstall).
