Kingdom of Mind is a live event project management organization. The company organizes live events and provides event management services.

For what projects/services did your company hire Buia&Flama , and what were your goals?

My organization hired Buia&Flama to develop the brand of a new music festival initiative. This included creating a brand guide, visual assets, tagline, and deck materials. Our goal was to have the brand reflect the location and values of the promotion.

We interviewed multiple vendors and worked with a number of designers on logo concepts before finding Buia&Flama. Buia&Flama took a holistic approach to our project and worked to capture the feeling of the brand, rather than just delivering individual assets.

Buia&Flama created a brand brief, studied the country our event was taking place in, interviewed me and my business partner about the brand, and did extensive research on the culture of the home country the event is being produced in. We created a service agreement and went through 3 stages

We have received positive feedback from project partners and sponsors, especially through the deck that B&F designer. So far we've seen a positive reaction from our audience and excitement for the project based on the branding materials we have previewed on social media.

The project was managed to the timeline outlined in the contract. For daily communications, whatsapp, email, and slack were used. When deliverables were time-sensitive, B&F always made the effort to deliver on time.

They took the time to understand the circumstance of the project and become familiar with the cultural influences that impact the project. Through the brand audit and overview phase, they taught me about the country we are operating in through their extensive research.

No areas for improvement we were very happy with B&F's work and responsiveness to our needs. They were highly invested in the project and thoughtful in their delivery of materials.

They’ve had a significant impact, which has translated into social media followers.

How did Buia&Flama perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been excellent; we’re very happy with how they’ve managed the project. They deliver everything we plan on time and follow our schedule.

We communicate mainly using Google Meet and phone calls. In addition, we have in-person meetings every three months.

We have a great relationship with them; we can see that they make an effort to understand what we want. Moreover, they communicate exactly what we want to, and we love the creative materials they deliver.

The quality of the technical contents could be improved. Our business is complicated, so it has taken them a while to grasp the technicalities.

We hired Fauves to design and develop a new WordPress website and help with positioning. They also did the logo and some branding and helped with social media.

To jumpstart the project, they did marketing research to bring some business opportunities. All the development, synchronization, and creation of the content was a fascinating process. They helped us to create and build all of it. The site had a lot of links to different landing pages.

They offered minor maintenance to improve the pages or social networks, but we had our own DevOps and major operations teams.

Sometimes we had issues related to management, but their excuse was that they were acquiring other companies. In general, we’d say they did well.

Their cost and speed of response were impressive. When we described what we needed, they understood almost immediately and delivered what we were looking for. They were also very creative.

In the beginning, we had issues that affected the delivery date.

Have a clear idea about what you’re looking for. That way, they’ll deliver what you need.

I am the CEO at a consulting firm based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We work with clients in many areas, we develope awesome tools to improve the efficience and quality in the work.

We are implementing a software to get reservations of shared resources in the office. We hired them to design the product website, the UI/UX design for the mobile and web application and create eye-catching illustrations to post on social networks. As a result we got our first client in the first week of product launch.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked for web designers and we contacted Fauves for common references. We choose this vendor because propose us an affordable price, we love others design published, and personally I agree with the innovative and horizontal work environment that it promotes internally with very happy working teams.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The project had different stages and depends of the goal. Website goal: we received 3 initial designs for the main page, we choose a theme, and they complete with our content. UI/UX goal: we received 2 initial designs and we choose a theme, then we work together during 3 months with weekly video calls on review many details and testing a few functionalities with real customers. Social network content: we received many posts to approve and they execute corrections and other phrases to make sense on our market goal.

In total, we worked with four people. A project manager during the hole project, 1 ui/ux expert to get our perfect web and mobile application design, 1 content manager to create awesome post to our social networks and 1 web designer for the product presentation.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our developer were able to implement their design easily, and we get very friendly feedback from our customers. Our site traffic is not relevant but we hear positive feedback from our visitors when they contact us to do a demo of our product.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was easy to communicate and provide to us frequent ideas to improve the expected results. We had only contact from Google Meet video conferences and this method was perfect for us. Everything was delivered on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was blown away by their design expertise and creative ideas. We appreciated the collaborative work and the positive experience with each member of our team.

Things could always be done faster, but the quality is more important than speedn and we ended very satsfied with the results
