We hired one full-time software developer for two years. The developer joined our frontend team and also assisted with backend development. In the first 6-12 months, the developer helped the team to finalize a large database migration project. Afterwards, the developer continued with ongoing development of new features and capabilities, as well as keeping the code clean and maintainable.

Mestiza New York is a DTC retail company specializing in cocktail and party dresses. I am the co-founder and Chief Brand Officer.

We needed a much more seamless checkout process on both desktop and mobile, as well as making general design updates to the entire shopping experience.

What were your goals for this project?

To improve our bounce rate, and reduce the amount of abandon carts, ultimately increasing our conversion.

I was referred by our digital marketer.

Redesign the homepage and nav bar, product pages, add a shopping cart pop up and redesign the shopping cart page--for both desktop and mobile.

I was only working with one person, who was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole project.

Since we have only recently launched the new site design so I don't have any immediate data to provide.
