Our company is ActivAided Orthotics. We're a biomechanical product development company. Our first product is a device to help correct posture.

I'm the marketing manager. I'm in charge of branding and product development.

What challenge were you trying to address with Cosmitto?

We wanted to increase our online visibility. We are a small company. We wanted to get our name out there, and et people become aware of us. We were looking to create a fun image for our company. Increasing our social media presence was one aspect of it.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Cosmitto is in charge of creating and managing content for our Twitter and Facebook accounts. They are also responsible for writing weekly blog posts for us. We talk to them and give them topics to write about. They research those topics and create original pieces around it. We then review them and post them.

How did you come to work with Cosmitto?

Our office is across the hall from theirs. So, when we decided to look for a digital marketing agency, they were the obvious choice.

How much have you invested with them?

The size of the project is under $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working with them for two years [as of August 2015]. Our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've noticed a drastic increase in engagement from people on Twitter. We are more recognizable than we were before, and that was our goal.

How did Cosmitto perform from a project management standpoint?

I am very happy with our partnership with Cosmitto. We have two people that we primarily work with. They are both able to answer any questions we have and provide good ideas on ways we can improve our results. They're always reliable and produce quality work. They've been good at figuring out what we want and how we want to be represented as a brand.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It's the personal touch. They got know our company, and they really try to portray the image that we want them to. They're always very good at making sure that the content is in line with who we want to be as a brand. We couldn't ask for more.

Are there any areas they could improve?

In terms of what they do, I'm very happy with it. I can't think of anything that I would change.

Our organization is Everett & Hurite Ophthalmic Associates. We are a multi-specialty ophthalmology group, with 13 different providers in nine locations.

I am a physician and part of the executive board. I was charged with creating and developing our social media network and promoting a more positive online presence.

What challenge were you trying to address with Cosmitto?

We were looking to build an online presence and grow our social media marketing efforts and following.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Cosmitto specifically to develop a blog on our website as well as to create a Twitter account and manage our Facebook account. Cosmitto writes all the content, then we review it and publish it. We push out one publication per week for all three media outlets.

How did you come to work with Cosmitto?

We were introduced to them through the web platform that we're using. We wanted to improve the blog on our website, so we were introduced to them. We did look at other companies, but we decided to go with them because they were so agreeable to work with us, and they gave us a good rate for what we wanted.

How much have you invested with them?

The size of the project to date is less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working with them for about five months [as of August 2015].

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our Facebook following grew from about 70 people to roughly 250 followers. The most interesting result we received is from our blog. We get three to four new patient appointments every day now. We looked at where that's coming from, and a many of our new appointments are coming from people who were looking at our blog. We've been getting new patients from all across the United States because of our blog. It's very surprising.

We've gone from having a very bare online presence to actually reaching out to people all around the United States and getting traction in our appointments. It's been amazing. Since we started without a blog and very little social media activity, it was easy to see how helpful Cosmitto's work is.

How did Cosmitto perform from a project management standpoint?

They have been great to work with. They set up the project and appointed us a project manager to speak. We've been very involved with the content. When they give us content to review, they are very timely on it. When we didn't like what they did, we made changes, and we worked together. The Cosmitto team is really pleasant and easy to work with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The main thing is that we haven't run into any problems or misunderstanding. They do great work and communicate well. We know where we stand with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I think they need to have a wider range of resources when they're writing the material. A deeper understanding of ophthalmology versus optometry would have been helpful. That's part of the process.

Our organization is Catholic Benefits Trust. Our mission is to improve the care provided in Catholic organizations' self-insured groups' medical plans while reducing costs.

I am the development officer of the trust. I am in charge of promoting the trust.

What challenge were you trying to address with Cosmitto?

We were looking to get our name out there. We knew that social media is a large contributor to marketing and online presence, but we didn't have the time or resources to do it ourselves. We partnered with them to create and manage the campaign.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Cosmitto is a key element in our content marketing. They are responsible for crafting and distributing our e-newsletters, creating and posting the content of our blog, and managing our LinkedIn account. They have also done some work for us with AdWords. They will also be in charge of our Facebook and Twitter accounts in the future.  

How did you come to work with Cosmitto?

We did some research on local vendors and reached out to a few of them. Cosmitto seemed very confident in their ability to help us, so we chose to partner with them.

How much have you invested with them?

The size of the project is less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been in contact with them for more than a year, but we started our contract with them in June 2015. Our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

At the moment, I don't have any results to share. Our first newsletter just went out, so it's too early to tell. However, we are very satisfied with the work so far.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We are very happy with the work that Cosmitto has done for us. The quality of the work is outstanding. They have been incredibly accessible and responsive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I think that it would be better if we met more often. That way, we can talk about our project every step of the way and adjust. We need a better feedback loop.

We wanted to consolidate our online marketing with a single company/person instead of the multiple 3rd parties we were using. The goal was to drive down costs, and drive up sales to our website.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Interviewed 4 companies and I liked the examples, story and pricing they provided.

We had them take over all of our Social Marketing including some content creatiion.

One single main contact. She was also the owner.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

400%+ increase in website sales in year 1 and 135% increase in year 2.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Monthly calls with weekly post approvals worked very seamlessly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their team incorporates our knowledge and understanding of the market and product into their process, which is great.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think as we got into year three we maybe could have done a major refresh on content and messaging. As much our fault as thiers.
