What challenge were you trying to address with Envisager Studio?

We needed website for our restaurant.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We worked through guidelines of what we want on the frontend. We went over the layout of menus, pictures, and information about the restaurant. Some of the content includes our mission and our branding. They listened to all our guidelines and then did all the development and design. I think the web hosting was through IPOWER. They also used Adobe, but I'm not sure of the technologies they used to build the website.

What is the team composition?

I'm always engaged with the owner. She's the only point of contact, and I'm not sure how many team members she has on her side.

How did you come to work with Envisager Studio?

This is my second restaurant. We started working together on the web presence for my first restaurant over ten years ago. Based on our experience with them, we hired them again to work on this website.

How much have you invested with them?

Their rates are a major reason we love working with them. The monthly price was around $200-$250.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working on this project around February 2019 and finished in March 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

People love the website. They did an amazing job with rendering, and the site looks great on a computer or on a mobile device. We get good feedback and comments.

How did Envisager Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

They managed the project well, and we communicated through phone and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're so brilliant. Whenever we have promotions or last-minute work, they're always willing to help.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve their SEO capabilities, but that's the only thing I can think of.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I don't have any specific advice, but I would definitely recommend them. They're worth the price, and they will return a lot of value to you.

My goals were to have a responsive, colorful and up to date website to give my company a well branded and compelling web presence.

I selected this vendor because I have worked with them in the past. They are very thorough. Their methods are very comprehensive. They are knowledgeable in current trends in web development and technologies and brand development as well.

They designed my entertainment website based on my requests. Selected images, fonts and content to accurately present and enhance our brand across all web platforms to include Social Media. Scripted and integrated the use of trusted third party widgets to enhance the site.

The Team consisted of the Web Developer and myself.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

My website has refreshed my brand. It is very impressive. It had provided a solid platform for my business to communicate its services. My potential customers, partners, and visitors all have a pleasant experience when using my site. It makes a great impression.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The developer and I worked as a team. The details of the project were discussed and agreed upon before the project was initiated. She collected data from me to get a good understanding of the requirement and provided feedback. She kept it on course to meet established timelines and kept in constant communications for approvals and content. I believe it was effective because it was finished in a timely manner with great results.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What is most impressive about this company, is their ability to expertly design and bring to life what you see in your head. They also are able to encompass key aspects of business operations in the development of the site. For example:

• Social Media
• Subscription lists
• eCommerce
• SEO optimization
• Communication

Are there any areas for improvement?

I think this company does a great job at determining requirements and works hard to exceed the standards. They are very open to feedback throughout the process so I don’t have any areas of improvement to discuss. They do great work!

I work for a division of Uptown New York Style Salon. We've been in business for over 30 years and make custom hair systems for women that have lost their hair like cancer patients or who want a change or more fullness.

What challenge were you trying to address with Envisager Studio?

I needed more promotion for our company online. I hired them to keep up our websites and get our brand out there really nicely.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had an initial consultation to go through my needs and what I was trying to achieve. Envisager Studio designed and developed our website entirely from scratch. We started off with basic HTML sites and then transitioned to WordPress as technology has changed. They've updated it and created new versions several times. 

Whenever I describe a new concept I have, they figure it out and get back to me with a way to make it happen. They're highly skilled at creating graphics. I prefer boldness and a lot of colors, so I wanted our branding to be a bit out there to showcase our unique services.

Recently, they've started adding new video content. They've also created new logos and have produced animation for me. We work out really cool new ideas together.

We met years ago. I spoke to a woman from their company to review everything I needed. She understood my company and described exactly how they work. Since we first got together, I've liked the process of seeing the new services they've started to offer. 

How did you come to work with Envisager Studio?

Hazel (CEO and Creative Director, Envisager Studio) is the leading team member I work with. Sometimes she will bring other teammates to discuss new ideas with me, but I mostly work with her, which I prefer.

We've spent in the $10,000–$50,000 range.

We've been working together since around 2000.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I've stayed with this web design agency because the CEO is passionate about what she does and has instilled in her team the importance of detail. The ongoing service they provide is excellent.

They've been able to deliver everything I've needed. Unlike other companies, they're happy to accommodate anything I ask for. I've never wanted to switch over to another vendor.

Right now, Envisager Studio handles all of our blogging and manages all four of our websites. Each site has a blog, and they write two posts per month. Topics range from products to different causes of hair loss. Their writing is really fantastic. If I have a new idea, I can just send them a picture and video and they will create a whole new blog post around it and add their own ideas. 

They've definitely had a positive effect on our business as a whole. Envisager Studio digs deep to find great new material that relates to my business. They always find more information than I even expected.

We have lots of followers who read our blog regularly. Many people have told me that they didn't even realize how many issues related to hair loss until they read our blog. I'm highly satisfied and have learned a lot from them myself.

They truly outdid themselves on our recent website redesign. It's elegant and has many new features for our visitors. Our salon patrons love it as well and often mention our site when they come into the shop. 

How did Envisager Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Envisager Studio is very responsive and keeps thorough documentation. After all of our phone calls, they have me send follow-up emails to stay on top of everything we discussed. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I am most impressed by the high-resolution graphics Envisager Studio designs. They take the time to create all the details to bring my ideas to life. They perfectly capture concepts I describe using animation. When they're copywriting, they sit down and go the extra step to get the right message across to our customers. 

I also appreciate that they maintain my website and keeps all the plugins updated. They take care of the whole process. I've enjoyed watching them grow, progress, and learn new skills. They keep up with new trends including all of the changes Google makes.

The CEO is always accessible and makes me feel as though I’m their only client. Her eye for aesthetics is exactly what I was looking for.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. They're doing everything I ask for and need. I’ve called around to different vendors, and no one compares.

I would suggest always coming prepared for anything you do. For website projects, have everything you want to promote written down and get all the pictures together first.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Envisager Studio designed the website. They would check in periodically to get our feedback. If there was something we didn’t like, then we would give our critique before they revamped and made the changes. Everything was designed on their own.

How did you come to work with Envisager Studio?

I’ve been working with Hazel for about 12 years now. When she was involved with another company, I was impressed with their website. With my job, I travel around the country to open up various practices. I’ve opened 12 practices, and she’s helped every step of the way.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $4,500 on the website and pay about $100 per month for maintenance. She offers an additional package that I’ve used for other practices, but we haven’t engaged with that for this project.

We started on this website in August 2017, and the engagement is ongoing.

For other companies they work with, Hazel tracks how the websites perform. We haven’t upgraded to that service at this point.

They’re timely and responsive. All of our communication is done over the phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with several web designers. Envisager Studio is hardworking. I appreciate their thoroughness and dedication.

No, there are none that I can think of.

When issues have occurred during our relationship, she’s learned from them. Miscommunication is normal, especially when dealing with different aspects and services.

Envisager Studio developed a website that is more user-friendly and accessible. They created a link for clients to book appointments online. There’s also a contact link that receives emails, which they push through to us. They regularly add pictures so the site is visually pleasing and engaging. The site has our staff bios as well. They continue to support updates to the site.

The updated website is definitely what we needed. We get a lot of compliments on the site. Clients think it’s visually attractive, and that nice pictures really tell a story. 

How did Envisager Studio perform from a project management standpoint? 

Envisager Studio is good at meeting deadlines. We communicate via phone and email, but we've also met in person a few times. At this point, Hazel knows what we want and how we want it. If I have any suggestions, I tell her what I'd like to add to the website and she does it.  

What did you find most impressive about them? 

Envisager Studio is very literate in website formatting and functionality. I'm definitely not strong in that area, and Hazel knows her stuff.

No, Hazel's good at listening to us about what we want done or changed.

Be clear on what you want but be open to suggestions. Sometimes she's able to enhance your ideas because of her knowledge and expertise.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Envisager Studio migrated my site to WordPress. I told them what I wanted, and they found a design that reflected my company ideals. They brought in visuals and other components that accurately reflected my brand and also did some copywriting. The site has a blog and is integrated with social media, including Instagram and YouTube.

I wanted to have a unique website that represented my multicultural brand. I also wanted to showcase our products and services as well as have an online scheduling tool. Envisager Studio was able to meet all of my needs. In addition, they handle the design and structure of our blog. (We have another vendor that understands urban culture and produces content for the blog.)

Our traffic has definitely increased and many of our clients use online scheduling to make appointments. Also, I'm very happy with the colors and the structure of the blog.
