Responsive and clear communication regarding all deadlines and work led to a clear understanding of timelines and what we required. Her keen insight to what we wanted even if we could not articulate it clearly was a huge contributory factor to the success of the project.

I am the owner of SoLuna Bakery, started in 2018 and have not had any branding solutions till recently when I got in contact with the company Fluid Orange. We specialise in celebratory, special events cakes.

We had no website or even a logo we believed in. The business lacked in design and marketing so Fluid Orange came in at the perfect time. We always had a vision but could not visually present it for others to see.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had taken the time to source viable designers, however in the quest we could not find one. Coming across Fluid Orange, we were able to discuss the vision and goal. Their attention and patience to listening to my goal is what made us choose them and their service's

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We commenced our discussions via email,going back and forth discussing what SoLuna is ,who we are ,and what we believe in. We were able to narrow down everything that is core value to the bakery and elements relevant to what it is. We then gave Fluid Orange complete creativity control with the elements required in mind ,eg colours and shapes.

Fluid Orange then rendered 3 logo designs for us to choose from,they were patient in allowing us to take our time and choose 1 that would best represent SoLuna, they were open to critic and changes so that the logo/ brand would fit us best. After continuous back and forth chat,we finally made a decision and chose a logo. The service and communication was clear, quick and easy.

After having decided on a logo, we started working on a website ,they guided us on how to get a domain and the processes of designing a website. They are thorough and work efficiently to deliver only the best quality. They asked for wording,images, colour palettes so that they can tie it all in together. They sent a link to the website where we could view,correct and make changes. The website is then finalized ,up and running.

They gave SoLuna a brand pack, which thoroughly explains everything that SoLuna can use for its marketing and brand growth. In the pack is colour palettes, fonts , etc

It was very efficient. They were easy to reach, responded promptly to emails and also checked in when we took time to respond.

Out of all places we have sourced to get a design that would be true to SoLuna,they got it right the first time after we discussed what SoLuna is about, they capture the core value of what the business is about

They could directly call for some communication.

Fluid Orange managed personal communication prior to and during the project and local project management. They developed a brand (mood boards, logo, brand book, etc) and a website design concept.
