Tavo designed a very user- friendly and visually stunning website for me. They also provided a lot of education about effective ways to brand and market my practice as well as grow my social media presence. In addition, they designed businesses cards for me.

Networking expansion. I have now shared my business card and website with several professional contacts.

The management was very prompt to address any needs I had as they arose. I especially appreciated that if they knew there may be a delay slight due to long weekends or holidays, I was given advance notice. I was very pleased with their organization and timeliness.

I was especially impressed by their graphic design team. The color scheme and design layout of my website and business cards is exceptional.

I think when building my website they could have considered testimonials and publications or awards from the onset. I brought this up later and we went back to add these sections in .

I’m the treasurer for the Army Space Professional Association (ASPA), a volunteer organization to promote space.

What challenge were you trying to address with TAVO Media Group?

We needed help with developing our website. As a volunteer association, we had limited funds, so we were looking for someone who could help us develop a professional website for an affordable price. We wanted this website to promote our association and sponsor events.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

TAVO Media Group has helped us design and develop our website from scratch. Initially, we met with Bryant (Founder & CEO) to discuss the project, and he gave us a range of options and prices related to what they could do for us. This process was similar to a consultation session.

Once we settled on the scope of the project, we had regular meetings to iterate on the process and design the website. Throughout this process, we provided TAVO Media Group with our requirements for the design, which included a black color scheme and some graphics alluding to the space and mountains. Bryant developed a few options, and we chose the one we liked the most.

As part of this process, TAVO Media Group also renewed our logo, set up our website, and kept making changes as required by my superiors until we were satisfied. To this day, TAVO Media Group still works with us to help us moderate the site. Their team is in charge of making updates and adding new events as we have them.

Ours is a very simple website because our main goal was to be easily founded when people searched for us. The site is connected with our Facebook and our membership community. Additionally, it provides users with membership options and other information. On it, we can also post information about our events and offer some merchandise like hoodies and t-shirts.

We started working together around September 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

TAVO Media Group has been able to help us with everything we wanted to achieve, implementing small changes every other week to meet our expectations. For example, our members complained about us having a very outdated Facebook store that half the time didn’t work. Now, we can direct people to the website, where they can easily shop so that we don’t have to worry about collecting money and checks.

Our website is very successful now, and we’ve been getting new members without us doing anything, which is fantastic. Additionally, the website now feels like it’s finalized, so we’re very happy with it.

How did TAVO Media Group perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve experienced no issues working with TAVO Media Group. Bryant is very responsive; whenever I email him, he gets back to me, and we set up a time to meet that works for both of us. As for communication, I usually send Bryant text messages, and we’ve exchanged emails a few times.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The main thing we like about TAVO Media Group is that they’re very receptive to our needs. They know that we have a limited budget, and they’ve been flexible in meeting outside work hours, which is when we have access to our phones.

On top of that, TAVO Media Group’s responsiveness and willingness to work with us are outstanding. Our organization is dispersed across many states, so our members usually don’t have the same ideas. Still, TAVO Media Group always works with us to make changes until everyone is happy with the website.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing TAVO Media Group could improve on — I’ve had an excellent experience working with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be upfront, tell TAVO Media Group what you need, and be sure that they’ll work with you no matter what. Ultimately, you’ll be happy with the overall product.

I am the owner of a new Med Spa. The unique aspect of this Spa is that it is geared specifically for Men. The Med Spa industry has been focused on marketing towards women for 30 years.

We hired TAVO Media to help us speak to Men and to normalize men taking care of themselves. As it has become more socially acceptable for men to take care of their faces and bodies, we still face a huge education barrier with men, they just do not know all that is available to help them feel and look their best.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They seemed to understand who we are and what we are going after more than other firms that we interviewed.

The project was multifaceted since we are a brand new location. Scope included developing a brand identity, planning and executing a grand opening part, pre opening advertising and event planning. Social media production and execution, Developing a whole website for us including video production, and podcast production and marketing.

We had extensive contact with Bryant the owner of TAVO as the lead strategist. We also interacted with copy writers, social media people as well as project managers over the course of the Launch.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had a very successful launch and feedback all over San Diego has been quite impressive in how many people from all of the right demographics will comment that they have heard about us and our opening. The grand opening party was very successful, and the website gets lots of unsolicited compliments.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

TAVO has been growing very rapidly during the period that we worked together, so occasionally things were slowed down between team members and communication suffered in the growing pains.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Bryant (owner) was definitely the driving force in our success with TAVO. He is very creative and has impressive vision combined with very high production standards.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The internal communication as noted above - this will work itself out as the large team matures. Also, I think the high production values occasionally got in the way of moving things out the door fast enough. In this digital world sometimes it is more important to get it out there than it is to perfect every last detail.

We had an outdated and ineffective website that didn’t represent our current capabilities or projects. As a result, we engaged TAVO to redesign our website. The goal was to showcase our projects and capabilities to our prospective and existing clients. They also helped bring us to the modern era.

TAVO created a new website from scratch. We repurposed the verbiage, but most of the graphics and pages were new. They worked to feature our capabilities and make the website more visually appealing to clients. The team also provided SEO services. 

Moreover, TAVO designed a separate property management website for me. It was another business of our company, and the website’s goal was to allow tenants to search for available spaces, reach out, and communicate their property management needs. It was a highly similar project to the first one.

The partnership lasted from September–December 2018.

TAVO provided us with metrics and reports that showed us unique visits to the website. We had increased traffic, and I’ve been able to utilize the general contracting website to showcase our projects to prospective clients. Meanwhile, we also saw increased traffic on the property management site. New lessees found us through that website.
