I first became aware of The Free Website Guys on an Instagram advert. I have to admit, I was dubious at first as I struggled to believe they could offer a service like this for free. However, having worked with them on the website of our start-up real estate company, I am delighted to say I was wrong. The whole process has been great, and Sven has been excellent to deal with throughout. 
There are optional add-ons for certain elements, but there's never any pressure from the team to commit to any additional spending. The team sends videos to help walk you through each step so it is really easy to navigate and collaborate on the designing and building process of your free website. 
I highly recommend using The Free Website Guys and in fact have personally recommended them to several people looking to have a website built. Thank you Sven and the rest of the team.

I needed a website that allowed me to provide iframe code, had reporting capabilities, and was easy to maintain going forward.

What was the scope of work with The Free Website Guys?

Sven and The Free Website Guys’ team built the website with the requirements I provided. They created an iframe on the main page to host my calendar, built a resource page, and created a custom submit event page with another iframe code.

What is the team composition?

I mainly worked with Sven, but I believe there was one other person.

The website can only be simple, limited number of hours and can only contact via email, emails can get missed or slow response. I think while there is a clear process it is very high level and can be broken down and perhaps a project plan that works well for both parties so some sense of timings.

I was provided with a customizable template that I chose, which is fully edible by me. Everything on the back end was set up for me. 

I was also provided an awesome handover document in order to successfully edit my template and publish my website!
