I’m the creative director of Craft Music, an online music instruction company. Craft Music is an online platform that connects students with professional musicians to discover, book, and attend one-to-one virtual music lessons. I am the founder of the company and oversee product vision, platform development, and overall growth.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Genesys Softwares LLC to accomplish for your company?

• We needed a scalable platform that would allow students to discover musicians, book and reschedule lessons, and attend secure virtual sessions, while also supporting payments, analytics, and long-term growth without performance or infrastructure issues.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Genesys handled product design, UX/UI, and full-stack development. They worked closely with us to design and build a scalable online music learning platform, including musician discovery, booking and scheduling, secure livestream lessons, and backend optimization to support growth.

The project has been completed, and the platform is live and actively supporting students and musicians.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Genesys Softwares LLC is highly responsive, and the system is getting better and better. We’re not at 100% yet, but we’ll be there soon. The team has reached almost all the milestones in the SOW and has implemented other functionalities per my request. Genesys Softwares LLC is highly considerate about our needs. We’re constantly testing the platform, and the team is responsive to our notes. We use TaskGrid to share testing results and optimize the platform further.

How did Genesys Softwares LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

We haven’t delivered on time, but we’ve added functionalities and made some decisions along the way. It’s been an organic process, so delivering on time hasn’t been required. We communicate with Genesys Softwares LLC through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps. Our relationship evolved into a trusted partnership as the platform grew in scope and complexity. Communication was consistent, and the team was proactive in addressing challenges and optimizing the system as new requirements emerged.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Genesys Softwares LLC’s availability, friendliness, skill sets, and ability to take my requests and bring them to fruition are impressive. This is my first time working with a development team, and I’m very pleased with the process.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are no major areas for improvement. The team delivered consistently and adapted well as the project evolved.

What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?

Come prepared with a clear product vision and be open to collaboration. Genesys is most effective when engaged as a long-term technical partner rather than only an execution resource.
