I’m the CTO of BuyPro, and we connect suppliers with enterprises.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with impltech?

We needed help creating an application for our internal managers and a mobile app for our external customers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They created a backend application using Angular 8 on the AWS platform. They also implemented DevOps to deploy our servers for online availability. We provided them with diagrams to showcase our main business processes as well as our project's technical user stories. impltech was also in charge of our UI design and final architecture. On top of that, they tested our solution. 

Then, they created a cross-platform mobile app using the Ionic framework, and it was integrated into the backend application. The team enabled our end users to upload their orders and documents, which were received and adjusted by our internal managers. In addition, the team also enabled our end users to participate with suppliers. Their work involved deploying, testing, and managing the test release of our Android and iOS app.

We worked with 5–6 people; three on the core development team, two frontend developers, and one tester.

We worked together from October 2020–May 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We didn’t have any data to share, but we were satisfied with the quality of their work as well as the timeline they followed. Thanks to their team, our end users could download our app on the App Store. 

How did impltech perform from a project management standpoint?

They worked at a good speed, and they were precise. We used Google Docs, Telegram, and Skype.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The best thing about our partnership was that they worked hard to stay on schedule so that they could deliver on time.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They were a small company, so I wasn’t sure if they had enough resources to do a project bigger than ours. Perhaps, they need more developers.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Share not only the technical specifications but also the final goals of your project to allow them to make decisions and optimize their work for you.
