I’m the owner of Bavarian Windows and Doors, a company that specializes installations. My role requires me to oversee every aspect of the business, including business development and marketing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Intrigue?

Both our website and our marketing strategies needed to be updated.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The first task that they completed was the website rebuild. After launching the new platform, they began to implement their digital marketing services. Their team advertises our company through Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, and email. They also produce promotional videos and write monthly blogs for our website, which are optimized with SEO best practices.

Their team can range from 2 – 5 specialists, depending on how many projects they’re working on concurrently.

How did you come to work with Intrigue?

We were already familiar with their local marketing efforts, but we didn’t consider working with them until learning about their online services. After comparing their work to our previous web vendors, it was clear that Intrigue was miles ahead in professionalism.

In three years, our total is expected to reach $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership began in 2015.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Five years ago, I was spending a lot of money on traditional advertising and generating $4 million in profits each year. Since Intrigue came on board, our sales have increased to more than $10 million. In addition to their digital marketing success, the website renovation has elevated our company’s status as a staple within the industry.

How did Intrigue perform from a project management standpoint?

Intrigue is always willing to adjust their workflow to accommodate our needs. They even consolidated our quarterly meetings into one annual consultation to coordinate with our busy schedule.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We don’t have to stress about every minor detail because we know that they have it covered. With Intrigue on our team, we’re able to allocate our in-house resources on business development.

Are there any areas they could improve?

One of the best things about working with them is that they’re continuously looking for ways to evolve their business.

Conventional thinking will only yield lackluster results, so be open-minded to their innovative ideas.

BACKGROUND

I am the marketing director for Logel's Auto Parts and Auto Recycling in Kitchener, Ontario.

We have been in business since 1959 and service most of Southern Ontario with shipping available to North America. We carry new and used auto parts and recycle end-of-life vehicles. Our target market includes all mechanical and body shops, new car dealerships, and anybody who is in need of a replacement auto part. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

We were in need of a new website. Our site at the time was actually three websites pieced together to create one. We had two WordPress sites, one for our blogs and one for our "mobile site," plus our main website that these two were linked to. What we needed was a new up-to-date responsive site that had everything under one roof.

The site was working fine at the time but, in order to fully utilize the blogs for proper optimization and make sure the site was navigated on all screens easily, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones, it needed to be updated.

SOLUTION

I was already using some of Intrigue's services when I approached them about a new site. My experience with them had always been a good one so they were an obvious choice.

During the course of a few months, we were able to choose a design and feel for the site using WordPress that we were all happy with. Intrigue has always seemed to be a company that does its homework and stays up date to with current technologies trends in the market. They handled the majority of the project in house from the photography, the graphic design and video direction to the copy writing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Overall, I'm extremely happy with the final product. The site is performing great, it looks great, and it's easy to navigate. We stayed within the agreed budget and Intrigue Media delivered on everything they promised.
