What challenge were you trying to address with Livex Software?

We hired Livex Software to design our e-commerce website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We began the project with a meeting to discuss our requirements. From there, Livex Software presented their designs based on our needs, and we approved. They incorporated several functionalities in the design, including the payment system, email notifications, etc. Livex Software continues to provide services for us; they make updates and changes to the platform as needed.

What is the team composition?

The project consisted of a director, programmer, accountant, sales representative, and an HR manager who each have input during the process.

We followed a referral to use Livex Software.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $15,000 on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2017, and the project is ongoing.

Our website is live, and we receive great compliments from users. Because of the strong work Livex Software produced, customers can efficiently use the site to place orders. We’re impressed with the designs they created.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the Operations Manager that managed 4000 active learners that studied online for 12 months period.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Livex Software, and what were your goals?

To develop a learners management system that would be able to capture all learner's details from registration, document verification, call center allocation, API integration with e-wallet service and training platform. The system had to capture clients' details with invoice and payment details. The system had to be mostly automated to minimize human intervention. The system had to give a dashboard view and be able to give multiple reports.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Livex was recommended to us. The deciding factor was initially that they understood the requirement and the urgency of the solution.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The start of the project was when covid hid in April 2020. Most of the interaction was via phone and online meeting platforms. We discussed the overall solution i was looking for. We started with the first step of creating an online registration page. This page had to few steps that had to be built in, from Popia to API with Home Affairs to verify identification information. Registration has to have the ability to upload documents and submit signatures. The registration page auto-populate signed agreements.

The MIS system where this information was stored had to be built. The MIS had to ensure all learner's details were captured, documents that had to upload and able to be verified and ensure that all quick views and reporting should show if all required documents have been uploaded and checked. All communications with learners should be captured, to at any given time be able to view what was communicated to learners.

Audit checks and payslip development. API was developed with an online training platform and e-wallet information, to be able to monitor training and capture all stipends that's been paid. The system had to capture all client's details with all financial information that is used for invoices, EMP201, EMP501 and more. As operations manager i want to pull report so see per client and overall what the status was at any given time.

I mostly interaction with the CEO.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was urgent hence the first phase had to be done ASAP, which was achieved. When this was done, legislation changed and we had to re-develop most of the process that was already built in the system. Livex assist me over the December holiday to achieve the deadline that was due Jan 2021

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project management was managed very well. We used a project management tool so that we always knew what the status was. But mostly I had weekly meetings with Livex and mostly everyday conversations about the system. Livex came through for me in the most pressing time. Everything was ASAP, they pulled through even though they had to worked late at night.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their personal touch and they team up with you as if it is there own business. They are committed and always available.
