Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the managing director of Solution Space, which is a PPC marketing company specializing in Google ads, Facebook ads, landing pages, and other lead-generation activities.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lytbox?

I worked with Jeff (Founder & Managing Director, Lytbox) to build my agency website for me from scratch.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I gave Jeff my idea, and from there he went away and formulated that into several different designs. He brought those back to me, and after we decided on one, he developed the prototype and then the full working website. I provided some of the written copy, but he handled all of the design and development himself.

The site itself is built on WordPress, and we utilized a variety of technologies including EditMentor, Sketch, and his own inventory of graphics and plugins to customize the site’s functionality. Since then, he’s been taking care of monthly site maintenance as well, from securing against malware to updating the site to ensure it continues to run smoothly. 

What is the team composition?

There are several team members working together on the project, but I only interact directly with Jeff.

How did you come to work with Lytbox?

I’ve known about Jeff for a few years, and we worked together on a different project in 2018. He did a phenomenal job there and I kept that in mind, so it was an easy choice to work with him here as well.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $3,000 in total.

What is the status of this engagement?

The whole development process ran from August–September 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We haven’t done a lot of work pushing sales yet, so in terms of the traffic that’s coming through, the numbers are still pretty low. In terms of the functionality of the site, however, I have been extremely impressed with the design itself, the page speed, the UI/UX on the frontend, and the overall fluency of how it’s been developed. I will definitely continue to use him for web design going forward. 

How did Lytbox perform from a project management standpoint?

They have a very optimized system of doing things, so everything was very smooth. He was always on the ball in terms of tasks, and kept me up to date through email and Skype. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Jeff goes above and beyond to ensure the customer is 100% satisfied with the product that they receive in the end. He has the ability to explain his point of view based on his experience, listen to you and your opinions about how you want your product, and then land on the exact middle ground that provides both what you want and what is really best for your business in the long run.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t think there’s anything I wish they did differently.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure both parties are very clear on what needs to be done, and that will help to keep the project on track as much as possible.

Lytbox delivered everything on time and as promised. They were very responsive to any questions that we had or changes that we wanted made. They were personable and courteous, always extremely professional and respectful.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Lytbox, through personal interactions between every member of the team and our team sought to understand who we are, what our business is, (as it is a niche business), what our values are and what our unique needs were. They did not have a "cut and paste" way of doing business but were very client-centered in their dealings with us, which was not only impressive in its uniqueness in our experience but also important for us, as it aligns with one of our core values.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Lytbox could have done differently?

We are completely satisfied with Lytbox and the work that they have done for us, I would happily recommend them to anyone (and have done so).
