Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of Pink Panda Holdings, Inc., a digital finance software company that’s focused on metaverse and NFT development.

What challenge were you trying to address with Margelo?

We needed someone to help us build a mobile app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Margelo is building our iOS and Android-based app from scratch using React Native and implementing open-source libraries as additional resources.

What is the team composition?

We mainly interface with Marc (Founder & CEO) and several web developers working on the different components of the website.

How did you come to work with Margelo?

One of our React Native developers follows Marcus on Twiter and GitHub, so he’s very familiar with their company’s work.

I reached out to Marcus after seeing his tweet about looking for new clients and after meeting a few times, we decided to hire them because we found them to be a fantastic fit for our project.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $250,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in September 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Margelo is really exceptional at making a high-performing app — they’ve successfully reduced load times, so the UX has been quite seamless.

How did Margelo perform from a project management standpoint?

Marc is very good at coordinating the roles and responsibilities of his team, so they perform well from a project management perspective.

We mainly communicate through Discord.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re very impressed with their focus on UI, as we haven’t worked with a company that puts so much attention on the smoothness and performance of a product’s UI.

Moreover, we like that they don’t settle for results that don’t meet their standards.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This is not really a big problem as we understand that they’re just a newly-formed organization, but it would be helpful if they can have sharper control of the development process.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The more clarity you have around exactly what you’re looking for, the better the engagement will be.
