Milestone production was hired to curate a series of deliverables for "Creating Spaces to Take Action on Violence Against Women and Girls". 

The project was funded by Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada (GAC). Oxfam in Pakistan sought the services of a consultant to manage the following for their project:

1. A documentary (Duration 8-12 minutes) 
2. Filming of 10-12 case studies 
3. Photographs with narrative descriptions

The deliverables were filmed across Punjab and Sindh province of Pakistan.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our mutually agreed measure of success was the full scale intensive production, filming and post-production of technically sound and high quality deliverables. They managed to curate it in a span of three weeks including multiple and comprehensive reviews. The project remained one of the most appreciated amogst all the countires.

Milestone team travelled with us intensively in the suburbs of Pakistan. They remained very culturally appropriate while meeting and shooting beneficiaries. They remained sensitive to the needs of the community while providing them enough space to speak on camera which was daunting for them. 

We found them technically sound and they produced a documentary par excellence for our project in a very limited time. As a production house, they were able to follow our brief very well and incorporated our feedback in a timely manner. They have a good shooting and editing team which is well-versed with the technicalities of large scale productions.

Salman, himself travelled with us alongside his team for this project. We were truly impressed by the ownership he took. Moreover, they are a team of young individuals who are technically very sound.

Milestone was approached for documenting the corporate environment as well as capturing the on-site (construction) activities for our projects as hand. From filming at different locations to interviewing employees till post-production of the four and a half minute video, everything aspect was handled by them. They even prepared a teaser for the main video. We had presented them and discussed in detail the storyboard which they followed till the project was concluded.

Milestone Communications (the Firm) was responsible for: 

1. Research and Script Writing: To research and develop the script for the documentary. CPDI facilitated the process by providing technical support and reviewed and approved the final script. 
2. Filming and Production: The Firm was responsible for shooting high-quality video (full HD format) at different locations in Sindh, Pakistan. The shots included drone footage of the mangrove plantations, biodiversity, interviews of the various project stakeholders (including the government of Sindh, Indus Delta Capital’s management, those employed in the project, and the communities), and other visuals intended to illustrate the importance of mangroves and the carbon credit system. 
3. Narration and Voiceover: The Firm provided a narrator with an engaging and expressive voice for documentary voiceover in English. CPDI evaluated and approved the narrator out of the options provided by the Firm. 
4. Background music and animation/illustrations: The firm was responsible for providing non-copyright background music for the documentary. Moreover, the Firm developed animation(s) or illustration(s), as required under the script, to make the documentary appealing.
5. Subtitles and translation: The firm was responsible for providing subtitles and translations of languages other than English, such as Sindhi and Urdu to English. 
6. Compliance with Ethical and Legal Standards: It was the Firm’s responsibility to comply with ethical and legal standards. 
7. Final Product: The Firm provided the final product-documentary- in full HD resolution.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The final deliverable was a well-researched, high-quality, documentary that showcases the success of the Delta Blue Carbon project of the Sindh government and that could serve as an inspiration for national and international audiences and relevant stakeholders.

The timeline of the project was very short and, subsequently, the amount of work required for understanding the concept, coordination, and shooting the visuals was enormous. Milestone Communications did a wonderful job by bringing intelligent, young, and energetic individuals to the task who were eager to learn, took a keen interest in the subject, and worked tirelessly to deliver the final product on time. 

I must stress, that there were changes in the draft version of the documentary on the very last night before our national conference, where the documentary had to be presented. Milestone's team stayed awake all night and delivered the product at 5:30 am. That is commitment!

The purpose of this project is to create a comprehensive video documentary for the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) focusing on Routine Immunization. The documentary aims to raise awareness, educate the public, and promote the importance of routine immunization for preventing vaccine-preventable diseases. The project will involve planning, filming, editing, and delivering the final video documentary.

The success of the routine immunization documentary project can be measured through several key outcomes. Firstly, an increase in public awareness and knowledge regarding the importance of routine immunization, as evidenced by survey data and viewer engagement metrics, would demonstrate progress in disseminating essential information. 

Additionally, tracking an uptick in vaccination rates, particularly among target demographics, following the documentary's release would signify its impact on encouraging positive health behaviors. Furthermore, media coverage, social media shares, and feedback from healthcare professionals and organizations endorsing the documentary's accuracy and effectiveness would reflect its credibility and success in reaching a wider audience.

Their project management was highly effective and organized. They consistently delivered all project milestones on time, showcasing their commitment to meeting deadlines. Their responsiveness to our needs was exceptional; they demonstrated a proactive approach in addressing any concerns or adjustments we requested throughout the project. 

Their willingness to adapt to changes and incorporate our feedback into the documentary's development was truly commendable, ensuring that the final product aligned perfectly with our vision and objectives.

What stood out most impressively about this company was their unwavering dedication to creativity and innovation. Their ability to craft a compelling narrative through the routine immunization documentary was truly unique, effectively engaging our target audience and conveying the importance of the subject matter. 

Their seamless blend of captivating visuals, informative content, and emotive storytelling showcased their exceptional talents. Moreover, their collaborative spirit and open communication throughout the project were exceptional, fostering a sense of partnership that made working with them a truly remarkable experience.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Milestone Video could have done differently?

While Milestone Video's overall performance was commendable, there were a few areas where slight improvements could have been made. Clearer communication during the pre-production phase regarding specific filming schedules and location logistics would have been beneficial for our team's planning. 

Additionally, providing more frequent progress updates during the editing phase could have helped us feel more involved in the creative process. Nonetheless, these points are minor in comparison to their overall exceptional work and collaborative approach, and they in no way overshadow the success of the project.
