I'm the web content manager for a medical college.

What challenge were you trying to address with New Pace Productions?

We’d recently redesigned our website. We wanted to create new videos to showcase the college's programs and facilities.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We talked to New Pace about producing videos to give a fresh look at our school and an overview of life on each campus. They provided scripting, storyboarding, pre- and post-production as well as a review process. They delivered three videos plus some B-roll video for a feature on our home page. We've used the videos on our social media channels in addition the website.

What is the team composition?

Most of my dealings were with an assigned point person. Four people worked on the video shoot.

How did you come to work with New Pace Productions?

My predecessor is the one who found them.

How much have you invested with them?

It was very reasonable. We spent somewhere around $10,000–$25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The work took place in September 2016.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Even close to two years out, the videos continue to perform very well. They've really held up. I wouldn't hesitate to use New Pace again.

How did New Pace Productions perform from a project management standpoint?

They were fantastic. The team was great to work with. They were friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. They were minimally disruptive when we were filming inside classrooms and other facilities, which was greatly appreciated. New Pace is probably the easiest contractor I've worked with to date.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're flexible, innovative, and offered excellent insight. I was extremely happy with the quality of their work. They were on time and they met all my expectations.

Any advice for potential customers?

Give them a chance to exercise their creative abilities. I went to New Pace with a few ideas of what I wanted, but I appreciate that they were able to expand and enhance my original ideas. They made the project into something far better than what I envisioned.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire New Pace Productions?

We worked with New Pace on three projects - all animated explainer videos. This type of video was a new venture for us as a content team, but we're very happy with how the videos turned out.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to present information in an approachable way - explaining a topic in depth through an animated video. Specifically, we worked with New Pace on videos about CAR T-Cell therapy, what happens during a colonoscopy, and a video about how to take opioids safely.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

New Pace reached out to us. We reviewed their past work and set up a discovery meeting. We were impressed and began the work of contracting with them.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

We wrote the scripts and corresponding storyboard for the videos, and New Pace brought them to life. This involved hiring a voice-over actor/actress, a graphic designer, and an animator.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

New Pace was very patient with us as we worked out a workflow and were more than willing to work with us through the many setbacks we encountered.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were very happy with the videos delivered by New Pace. The mark of success, we think, is how well the videos are doing, in terms of engagement.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective!

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We really liked the range of creative services they provided.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nope!
