We had just started offering a national delivery service, and wanted help in expanding our geographical market outside of our immediate local area.

Novi are a B Corp, something that I favour. Their awards and testimonials encouraged me to make contact, then the preparation they had undertaken for the call convinced me.

Novi were tasked with improving our organic search rankings as well as owning the strategy and application of our Google Ads Shopping PPC. The brief was fairly loose, but Novi jumped in straight away tweaking and optimising the internal structuring of the website internal linking, creating content etc. This was then amended and improved upon with regular catch ups. With PPC, the Novi team really came into their own and set everything up from scratch, driving more local traffic and new national traffic and conversions to the website.

I worked closely with the MD, our dedicated Account Manager and members of the PPC and SEO delivery teams.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We saw very close to a percantage increase in conversion rate after some suggested tweaks were made. New user acquisition from PPC, and direct sales from PPC Shopping increased exponentially throughout the 2nd quarter. SERP position was improved across several key unbranded keywords.

Novi were very responsive and always on top of any disruption with the website as well as the PPC & SEO management. It was easy to get hold of someone if I needed them and regular calls were put in place straight away to ensure a regular line of communication.

As part of B Corp the ethos and running of the business already appealed to me. I would also receive emails out of office hours with ideas, tips or updates for performance improvements. They were constantly working! They were very patient with us and happy to go at a slower pace.

Since working with Novi Digital, in less than a year we've achieved a 39% increase in organic traffic and a 198% increase in our share of voice amongst our key competitors.

Novi are very thorough with meeting agendas before our weekly calls and summarising the actions after the meeting. They've developed Google docs spreadsheets and a Trello board to help manage projects and upcoming actions. We've really appreciated their flexibility in adapting to our needs as the client.

Their in-depth knowledge of SEO and how they relay that to us in a way that we can make sense of is second to none. Mike is very approachable and accommodating, and is always on the lookout for the next SEO trend or insight. Aaron has his finger on the pulse and has brought in new tools to support the future direction of SEO. Novi takes our pain points away and turns things around quickly. always will to make adjustments to suit our needs and our stakeholders. It's a pleasure working with them.

The occasional report has been delivered slightly later than intended.

Novi Digital has been the SEO consultant for Musicteachers.co.uk prior to our acquisition, meaning that they had crucial experience and knowledge within both the old website architecture and the market.

Novi has helped us with gaining an understanding of the old site architecture and planned the entire migration with us very carefully. During the merge, Novi was a very close point of contact and an active decision-maker for the strategy of the migration. Thanks to Novi we were able to successfully merge the two website and achieved our goals with this project.

Will is incredibly warm and easy to talk to. He's a very upbeat person and we usually can't finish a call without having had a laugh together. He is also incredibly passionate about what he does and will always go above and beyond to help you. He is a good communicator and always keeps you up-to-date on what is happening with a project, you never have to chase. He comes back to you on any questions in a timely manner and knows his stuff. I've been incredibly impressed by Will.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their efforts to turn things around when we weren't happy with how things were going last year. They took my concerns seriously and carried out actions to ensure that things improved.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Their monthly report isn't any use, but I understand they are looking to improve this. I also think their copywriters need to get to grips with a company's tone of voice before they start writing content. We have really struggled with the copywriting because it's often 'off brand' and always have to re-write it.

novi.digital is good at project management. They always follow their deadlines, and if there are delays, it’s usually because they’re waiting for information from us. They send us monthly reports about their performance, and we have a monthly meeting with their account manager.

Generally, it’s easy to deal with their senior management. Like us, they have a small team, and I can speak to their managing director whenever I have a question. Their account manager is always chasing us for meetings, which works for us because we have a busy schedule.

novi.digital’s knowledge and expertise in SEO are impressive. In addition, they’ve spent a lot of time trying to understand our business instead of using an off-the-shelf campaign.

Explain your business to them, and ensure they’re targeting the right areas. Have regular communication with their team, and monitor the results of their campaigns.

We mainly measure the success of their efforts by checking our ROI and cost per conversion rates (CPC). Thanks to novi.digital, we’ve had the most successful campaigns, and their reporting and customer service have been excellent as well.

They deliver quality work and handle any changes or updates that need to be made quickly and professionally. The directors and the higher-ups are involved every day and keep in touch with all the team. Their full-service marketing efforts give us a lot of confidence in what we’re doing.

Overall, their project management has been fantastic. Since setting up, we’ve had monthly and sometimes weekly meetings to make our digital efforts more solid and flexible, and update them with new information that we find from different sources. We communicate through phone calls, emails, Microsoft Teams, Zoom meetings, and other means of communication. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The staff is responsive and comes back with solutions quickly. We are in a very flexible market where we need to be reactive, so the fact that they are able to deliver results swiftly without diminishing quality is very good.

They do an excellent job regarding communication and updates. They always provide feedback and advice from research done during a project. We communicate via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, phone, and email. We’ve seen a huge, quantifiable improvement in web traffic and online bookings. We’ve been an awful lot busier, and our occupancy levels have increased considerably.

How did novi.digital perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very good about frequently following up with us. They regularly update us, and they’ve also asked us to update them so that they can incorporate any new developments into their action plan. I’ve appreciated that two-way communication model.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They simplify everything for us by refraining from using jargon that we wouldn’t understand. Instead, they explain their processes in a way that allows us to get our heads around what they’re actually planning to do. They don’t make it too technical for us, which we’ve been very grateful for.

No, I don’t think so. It’s been very good from the start.

Tell them what it is you need. Identify where you need their help, and ask for their advice. That’s what we did, and they were very good at addressing our needs.
