There are 8 people on project management tool, and I’m usually in communication with 7–8 people from Octal. The business analyst is my main contact, and I talk to the developers when needed and project manager when required.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I had no app launched in the App Store and play store as we are doing beta testing. It usually works bug-free, and when there is a bug, the user usually won’t notice it. Those are in the lines of a wrong icon or a wrong image size — things that I’ll catch. Octal works on bug fixing really fast, and they ensure that things are going well. If there’s an issue, they start working on it instantly. Octal is really supportive, fast, and helpful in this area.

We’ll always face issues during the development process. Working with a bigger company like Octal makes it more likely to find solutions for those issues. We’re still in the finalization process, so we’ve only run small advertisements for the app. I’ve received specific feedback on it, which means they’re really working with the app

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We’re using Trello and Skype. Their project manager and business analyst is doing an excellent job, and it’s easy to follow all the tasks and issues. I test new builds in TestFlight and write my feedback in Trello. Then, Octal starts working on that feedback. Once everything is finished, the issue ticket is closed. The system is professional and easy to understand, even for someone new in the business.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They’re very straightforward and honest. Rather than looking for payable hours, they strive to deliver a good product to the client. It’s very important for me that the people involved are really putting their hearts into the product, and this is the case with Octal team. I can see this in the feedback they give me. They’ve recommended things that saved me money and made the product better.

I am the Head of Product of a restaurant delivery and marketing company having its locations throughout the Midwest. The company works with restaurant partners to deliver their food to homes, offices and hotels. The company specializes in business meetings, events, presentations and office lunches of all sizes.

After successfully working in the offline market for a long time, we wanted to tap into the online opportunities for our business. We hire Octal IT Solution to build a feature-rich website for our food and restaurant delivery business.

We selected Octal IT Solution considering its strong portfolio in the delivery of food-related solutions. Also, we considered their long experience of over 15 years in the industry.

We hired dedicated programmers to work on the project. The project started from scratch, right from the ideation phase to designing and coding.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Currently, we are working with a single programmer as the project is in the ideation phase. We are planning to hire more resources from them in the very near future.

The project is just started and we are already very satisfied with their work. They have started great and I am very confident in the smooth progress of the project.

Their project management style is very smooth, and they are always available to communicate whenever required. I connect with them through emails, Skype, and phone.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Octal IT Solution has a very unique approach to working with its clients. They keep things very organized and are always on time. My experience so far with them has been great.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Since I have started working with them very recently, there is nothing I found where they need any sort of improvement.

Initially the commercial manager formulated a scope requirement to assure correct understanding for all parties. Then a multi resource team was gathered for development of cross platforms.
