Build a mobile order and pay system for dine-in restaurant customers. Customers must be able to scan or enter a table code to view the menu, select items to order, and pay for them quickly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Octalogic is a rare (EXTREMELY) rare group if you're lucky enough to find them. They are worth more than every dollar you will scope with them. Their communication is better than most of the domestic developers I've worked with in the US and they're a pleasure to work with. Besides that, the quality of their work is absolutely incredible. I've been a product leader at a handful of companies over the last decade and have always found Octalogic's work to prevail over our own internal teams.

They're committed, communicative, and available almost at all hours; they get the job done. That's the bottom line. If you want a team that will tell you when they don't know something or if you should avoid a decision for a technical reason, Octalogic will (pleasantly) give you the truth and stick to what they know. They refuse to output a mediocre product just to simply say "yes," - which isn't a quality I've found in any other team, either domestic or abroad. They're not just a team I work with, but I consider them friends. I don't know how many dev teams you can say that about.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Octalogic could have done differently?

The reason I have cycled through 40-50 other dev teams in over a decade is the reason I can say, no. Octalogic does everything they say they can, and nothing that they are clear they won't/can't do. It's this transparency and trust that leads me to write this review. You can trust them, and they will tell you exactly how things are.
